The strangest incident happened in a small village outside the Jordanian capital, Amman, when a cat took unusual interest in 5 chicks!
A hen had been chased and killed by a dog ... this hen, had 5 small chicks ... who will care of them after the mother hen has died?
A cat took interest in these orphaned chicks and started caring for them, putting them under her arms and keeping them warm!
This same cat, gave birth to three little kittens a couple of weeks later and is now caring for her kittens and the 5 chicks!
At first the cat's owner, wanted to take the chicks away from her because he thought it was going to eat them, but was astonished when he saw her taking care of them!
