We all see the pleasant side of being a socialite: the money, the fame and the glory. But there are times when life as a singer is not so rosy, and Nancy can bear witness to this after she received death threats from factions in Yemen. Apparently these factions claimed that if Nancy followed through with the concert she is to perform in May they would slay her as singing promotes indecent conduct. But Nancy has ignored these threats and will in fact be going to Yemen and performing as she says that she will sing anywhere where there are people who love her and enjoy her music.

On a slightly more peaceful note Nancy has also decided to film the music video for the song ‘Resalet Salam’ (A Peaceful Message). The song was featured in her latest album ‘Shater, Shater’ and this song saw a phenomenal reaction from audiences. ‘Resalet Salam’ will ironically be filmed in Beirut where political unrest still looms. I hope everyone takes Nancy message of peace to heart!
