You definitely know Faudel ... the cute Algerian Rai singer ... right?
Well, although he's famous and is living THE life in France, things haven't been looking good for him in the past few months.
Rumor has it that Faudel had a few fall outs with his family, especially his mom, and with a certain model who recently married the president of France!!!
Yes ... according to the rumor, Faudel was in a relationship with Carla Bruni, but she dumped him for a 'way more famous' dude ... Nicolas Sarkozy!
All this took it's toll on Faudel and that drove him into a serious depression and an attempted suicide! Reports have it that Faudel threw himself off his balcony, but he was quickly taken to hospital where he received the needed treatment and survived.
Faudel was discharged from hospital a few days ago and is recuperating at home.
He promised his fans a new, strong start and more successes in the coming future.

Faudel's last album was released in 2006, entitled "Mundial Corrida".

well, i thought that he was already married and he has a kid. I was sure because when he came last year to star academy they should them.
Thats such a big lie, he came to star academy last year and said he as happily married living in france with 2 kids.

With all due respect- I don't know where this story came from, H.A.R, but it seems extremely bizzare and sounds a little too over-the-top.
Faudel is already married and has 2 children and although he does live in France, I really do not think that he and Carla Bruni would go through a 'relationship.'
Plus, the suicide thing is a little extraordinary- I mean, sure everybody falls out from time to time- but suicide?! I have met him and he seemed a pretty down-to-earth person.
Although I am not really a fan of his, I wish him all the luck for the future- even if this whole ordeal is true, but it may just be an over-exagerrated rumour.
