The Top 12 contestants of American Idol 7 performed Beatles songs last night, during the first episode of the finals. OH! We can't not mention the BIG new stage and the new lights! How important is that? I'm not sure, but pretty important for Ryan Seacrest!
The first finalist to perform was Syesha Mercado and she sang Got to Get You Into My Life.
She did good and even gave the song new character. Randy and Paula thought she did 'all right' but Simon thought she did 'better than all right' and that the song was a good choice for her voice.
The second finalist to sing was Chikezie and he sang She's a Woman.
He gave the song a rock edge and it was a hit! Randy, Paula and Simon all agreed that it was fantastic! Wow!
The third finalist to perform was Ramiele Malubay and she did In My Life.
She didn't gibe the song anything new and it was pretty boring! She stayed on the safe side, while she could have done better.
The fourth finalist to sing was Jason Castro and he sang If I Fell.
His performance was simple and he could have done better! But he definitely deserves to stay for next week!
The fifth finalist to sing was Carly Smithson and she sang Come Together.
Carly isn't new to thing song, she's sung it every week since like forever! Her performance was great. Even Paula said it was like "already watching a star".
The sixth finalist to sing was David Cook and he sang Eleanor Rigby.
A difficult song and David brings it home! He did great and the proof is that Simon says: "David, I thought it was brilliant. For two weeks now, if this show remains a talent competition rather than a popularity competition, you actually could win this entire show."
The seventh finalist to sing was Brooke White and she sang Let It Be.
Brooke also decided to play the piano ... which makes things more difficult! But she does great and the judges love her performance.
Simon told her: "I thought it was, again, one of the best performances of the night".
The eighth finalist to sing was David Hernandez and he did I Saw Her Standing There.
I simply didn't like his performance ... it was totally over done!
The ninth finalist to sing was Amanda Overmyer and she did You Can't Do That.
Amanda gives the song a country whim and that's cool!
The tenth finalist to sing was Michael Johns and he did Across the Universe.
He does good but not as good as he should have! The song was a bit of a boring performance to me.
The eleventh finalist to sing was Kristy Lee Cook and she did Eight Days a Week.
She didn't do that well! Her country take on it was sorta crappy! Sorry!
As Simon said: "You sounded like Dolly Parton on helium".
The twelve-th finalist to perform was David Archuleta or 'Little David'! He chose to sing We Can Work It Out.
David messed it up quiet a lot! He missed the starting point and forgot the words a couple of times! It was definitely the worst performance of his till now!
So, i think the two people most in danger are Kristy Lee Cook and Little David!
I think one of them is going to leave tonight!
But, what do you think? Who's most likely to leave tonight?

Comments
Kristy lee cook wil most likely leave.
:O If David Archuleta leaves,i will BAWL my eyes out!! I know his fan base is preety big so he might stay for next week(hopefully) Honestly, i really don't know who will leave. This is the best top 12 EVER and each and one of them are talented in there own way. It'sa shame to see someone leave each week! They are all very good and talented!!
Here's the bottom three:
-Syesha Mercado
-Kristy Lee Cook
-David Hernandez
At the end,Ryan announced that Syesha was safe. But the most surprising moment was, when he announced that David Hernandez was going to leave the competition.
Good luck David!
