The seventh prime of LBC Star Academy 5 is underway and the guests are Bashar Shatti and Marwan Khouri and Hot Banditos from Brazil.
The nominees are still inside the Academy and one of them will get on stage for the every last time tonight! Who will it be? ...
Starting off the prime is the usual Starac 5 theme song Jeena.
The first tableau of the night is something out of One Thousand & One Nights! (watch the video here)
Asma and Shahinaz are the ones performing the songs of this tableau.
I thought Shahinaz did much better than Asma.
The nominees are now on stage and they're about to sing.
The first to go is Diaa with 'Because of you' by Kelly Clarkson, then Khaled did 'Weli Weli' and the last to go is Adnan and he sang 'Ya Hawa' by Wael Kfouri.
If you want the truth ... the three of them didn't do well!
Now, it's time for Star Ac 1 runner-up Bashar Shatti to perform. He and Abdallah sang one of his own songs.

diaa sang v good but in shakiras song she went out of breath i think if it wasnt for the dancing and colors in that tableau they wouldnt have sounded great but overall it was preformed excellent [wow, FUN]

This prime was better then the last one, but they should distribute the songs better! Abdu has a great voice, but if you don't give the others a chance, how can they prove themselves? And also, they should have given an Arabic song to Dia for her nominationpreformance! A Moroccan song would've been nice (Marsoul el Hob, Lahlay Ya Zied Aktar, ...)!

OMG Dia was truly magnificent! Wow, she was outstanding in this prime even tho she was a nominee. I really don't understand and I'm mad at the fact that the teachers picked her to be nominee! A prime wouldn't be a prime without her. Who would sing in all those tableaus if she was out? I love DIA!! I LOVE HER,, I was shocked that she didn't get the audience votes. OMG DIAA IS AMAZING! honestly...she is just sooo good! BEAUTIFUL VOICE! strongest out of the girls, wow, soo beautiful, when she sang kelly clarkson's song...she was just soo amazing, better than kelly herself. This prime was hers! she will be top 1 next week, she is just soo sweet, kind, beautiful and wonderful voice. i love her so much.

I am Jordanian but honestly Mohamad is two-faced and a jerk who is very conceited. He has a temper and a horrible attitude....I can't stand his personality...it sucks! He will not go far iza byeb2a shayef 7alo hal ad. He doesn't respect the teachers or the students...he is so rude and annoying. He always interferes with everyone's business and problems w bekabar el mawdou3. He has no manners and honestly he should leave next week! His voice is great but I think he should leave and make it on his own because at this point he is hated by the students and teachers...which isn't good, so I suggest they nominate him next week and even if he doesn't leave hopefully being nominated would scare him and he will change his ways. I definitely think they are going to nominate him next week because he sang very little today and he's out of the top 5...and plus when they showed the meeting with the teachers about nominations they were all arguing about Mohamad wanting to nominate him. If I was Mme.Roula I would kick him out as soon as possible!
Today's prime was very nice I enjoyed the performers sp much...especially Marwan Khoury singing 'Ya Rabb', what a beautiful song. Shahinaz has an amazing voice along with Saad, Amal B, Abdallah, Mostafa, Amel M. and Mohamad. The Hot Banditos were good with the first performance...I love that song Que Si Que No! I loved Bashar El Shatti's performances especially 'Aghanila' and 'Ah Ya Hawa', he is a true star and a great singer with a wonderful personality...GO BASHAR! Diaa's voice isn't the strongest out of the girls but she does have a decent voice in english but in arabic...no comment! Nader is good with english and when he sang 'Arraby Leya' Samo Zaen's song during SMS night, he did very well. Saad's solo with singing 'Rouh' for Fadel Shaker was amazing! I hope Saad wins Star Academy this year or Shahinaz! Great prime!

It is unfair Zaher didnt sing anything and the nominees sang 3 songs? How come .If he is too bad why they didnt put him a nominee last week? Zaher never got to show his talents .Ok his voice is ok ,but it is soft ,tender and sweet.and if they give him a perfect song that fits his voice in a nice tablou he will do fine.but as usual they concentrate on some students and neglect others especially Zaher.Tina in starc 4 and Maya in starc 3 didnt have any Charisma or a good voice ,but they were the stars of the show.Also no offenence to anyone but Ahmaed ,Ali,Sally and otthers didnt have a good voice but look how they treated them last year.This is the first time in the show that a student never gets anthing to sing.If Zaher is to bad and have no vocals or Charisma what so ever.Why the teachers but him top 4? Just to play with our emotions? I keept waiting all the night just to hear his romantic voice and see his beautiful smile and what .He didnt show up.And Honestly Zahers voice isnt strong but his voice is sweet,tender and so romentic and if he cant sing in Arabic they wouldnt put him in the academy brothers?I belive if they give Zaher a nice song that is suitable for his vocal limits he can impress alot of people coz the voice isnt the most important issue .Bahaa alkafi. mohammed alkhalawi,Atiah and even from super satr like amaar,ayman and others.where are they ? no where i dont want to offend anyone,but Ahmed al Sharif is the only one who is the real star however the teachers when he was in the academy they keept saying that his voice is weak and he cant pronnounce the words correctly and look where Ahmed is .Any way i believe in Zaher ,but plz Madam Rola Give him a chance.

The prime was good yes. We all noticed that Zaher didn't sing, mohamed barely sang blah blah... but also we noticed that Dia who's a nominee sang like 2 songs and half!!! Did anyone notice that probably Rola wants the world to see that "no no people, Dia is good.. look at her, she can sing.. vote for her ok?" that's the message that i think she's doing. The other two barely sang of course, which is how it is supposed to be... at least in the beginning cuz there are alot of students... plus.. the other students like zaher, mohamed, and others should have sang much more than Dia cuz they are not nominated! weird this lady is weird...
Let me tell you who's gonna be nominated next week: Asma, Adnan, and probably Zaher... she shouldn't put up mohamed really.. but if she did that's cuz she would want adnan OUT! that's me.. and we'll see! =D
Asma and Adnan do not have enough voice compared to others, they are the weakest now.. and should be out soon.
Teachers did well... and Amal and Abdallah have confirmed that they are gonna be on the last bunch.. and most liekly in the tour too! =D

guys...relax!! i speak in 10000 dialects....it doesnt mean i am fake....when someone heres me speaking in arabic...they dont really know where i am from...cause its extremely mixed, and i love speaking in khaliji or any other dialect....it doesnt mean i am fake. It's a way of communication.....
about mirhan...i have mixed feelings about her, sometimes i love her, sometimes i dont, i dont knwo what it is in her personality...this whole moustafa thing, its really bothering me..she needs to grow up. I definetly think Amel B deserves Top 1, i can't believe they never put her.

Was Zaher punished this prime? he was supposed to sing in the Shakira song he even stood beside Dia and Nader. I think that there was some kind of problem with his mike so Nader covered it and sang in his place. Cause I don't think he'd be punished he's practicly an angel plus if he wasn't supposed to sing he would have danced with the other students in the beginning of the song and not stand on the bar.
I loved the br8k dance of Mostapha and Nader @ first i thought it's one of the dancers.
Did any of u notice that Amal B fell from the bar in that Tableau , she's even limping now. HOPE SHE GETS BETTER SOON.
I loved the singing of Saad, Abdullah, Mostapha(good improvement) Nader, and Dia.

They paired her with Shahinaz from the beginning. They think she has a beautiful voice and would like to see the duets again like the duets between Shada and Marwa. Asma did sing better, but is not improving! She'll be nominated this week and will go out, I'm sure of that! Ofcourse I don't hope so, I wanted yo see atleast 1 Moroccan on the tour, but I have a feeling, none of the 2 Moroccans will go! Both potential, but:
-Asma, no concentration followed by nashaz during the primes.
-Dia, great and strong voice! I'm convinced she's a good singer in Arabic, helas she keeps on singing in French and English(she's talking more Arabic these days) and it'll bee difficult to switch back to Arabic. And she did not sing bad at all during Youm Wara Youm, infact, I think she did better than Nader.

I would comply with your opinion entirely - except on two points: (1) I can accept that she was coupled with Shahinaz as these two have the most beautiful voices (of banaat) - apart from the singing ability - but, there may be another reason for this; and (2) even if she gets nominated in the next turn she will be saved.
I believe they want to get most from all the students as it is good for the show too. One way of influencing a week skill is to have it practiced with somebody who is advanced in the same skill. Shahinaz must be wonderfully patient as she was paired not only with Asma but with Khaled as well - for the same purpose. I am not sure they did not see Asma's limitations in the start, and can hardly believe she was expected to progress so rapidly that any hope for having her and Shahinaz as a duet was ever present. Actually, there was nobody else they could put Asma with. the first prime was exception when she sang with Mustafa. You might be surprised, but the most watched StaraAc5 clip in France, so far, is the "Shater, shater."
I am sorry if none of the ladies you mentioned makes to the tour. Taken all seasons together the best female voices come from Maroc and Tunis. Interesting, I wonder why ... Well, lust year you had three ladies! (Shada is more Maghrebia than from Middle-East, whatever some people say.) Problem with Dia is that she has more ruined her singing ability with the English yelling than she is able to admit to herself.
If I "calculate" - in trying to understand how Rola Saad and her bosses will proceed - whatever way I look it does not come out Asma can be dismissed next prime. I cannot say if she is gonna be nominated at all; I doubt it. Try to think this way: what is the group least beneficial for the show at this moment ?! Put together both primes and the dailies, or 24h program; and keep in mind the levels, on each 2-3 candidates. Didn't Wadih say that basically Zaher, Mustafa and - I do not remember the third name mentioned - have the same voice limitations (?) That is one level, and so on. I mean, you do not have to think a lot to see the students that can be dispensed with are Badr, Amal-M and Zaher. They may nominate them all at once, or one by one with some stronger students (those they are sure will survive the voting). I am sure the LBC monitors the viewers and they will know how to do the next steps. The public likes Asma more than these three I mention; therefore she will stay on, at least another three weeks.
