There has been a lot of talk recently about Lebanese actresses getting parts in Egyptian cinema simply because they have no ‘boundaries’ of any sort. Maya Nasri, a Lebanese actress who has starred in more than one Egyptian movie, has decided to speak up and refute all this talk. She said that she has never had to perform any inappropriate scenes in any of the movies she starred in and neither have actresses like Noor who have stuck to their morals.

All these women have still gained an impeccable status in the world of Egyptian cinema without having to use anything but their talent to get there! Maya clarified that although she is against nudity and inappropriate scenes she is not against playing the role of the ‘seductress’ simply because as an actress she should be open to any role. I personally think mere jealousy has sparked this war on Lebanese actresses, these are talented women determined to do their best in a competitive business, and they should be left alone!
