The children in Palestine rarely get the chance to live their childhood with bombs going off right and left. However, a new fad has taken over f Palestine and every kid wants a piece of it. This fad comes in the form of candy rapped in copies of Israeli and Syrian monetary notes and on these fake notes are printed the pictures of the characters of the Syrian drama ‘Bab El Hara’. The mastermind behind this new wrapper says he did not mean to make any sort of political statement instead he wanted to promote his candy whilst educating the Palestinian children about Syrian money.
Also to ensure that his wrapper is not used to purchase items he printed the name of his company ‘Ronza’ and his telephone number on it. I think this is a great way of giving these children who have nothing something that in their eyes is of value. ‘Bab El Hara’ has obviously stolen the hearts of Palestinians of all ages and I am sure the stars will be happy to see their faces on monetary note.
