I think all of them did bad on this evaluation, the nomination was fair, for Jessica I believe her friends should let her go, they gave her a chance and she has a serious problem to memorize the lyrics, they should give a chance to Khalid and Iman…
For you guys who think Asma has a bad voice: you are very wrong, talking about girls I believe she will stay for a long time because the only good voice in girls: Shahinaz, Asma and Mirhan by the way Asma is young and people will love to work with her (a good example for that is Nancy Ajram).
For boys I think Abdullah from Saudi Arabia is good, Mustapha has a chance even if I did not like his performance on the evaluation it was not great at all hope that he will pick up, Saad needs to work harder to make it far.
Zaher needs to cut down his show; I believe all those guys who sing in French or English should leave, even if their voices are great, it is the wrong place, MAN I did never hear some body singing in Arabic in American Idol or Star Academy France…

1. Shahinaz from Egypt, I would really like her to win!

As for the nomination, Iman should stay, she needs a week to prove the teachers that she can sing. If she can not be a good singer, then she will probably be a good entertainer. As for Khalid , he will surely stay, but he has not really got a good voice. The best one from the khaleej is Abdullah!

I think the nominees are fair. I think Khaled or Iman should go. I hope that Jessika comes back :). It's true that this is Jessika's second time being a nominee but remember Hisham from season 2 was nominated 6 times and he still won the whole thing. Personally, I feel that Jessika is the strongest nominee out of the three.

Jessica needs to get out I don't like when teachers know that some body is weak and you keep bringing him back, she had her chance over Omar, you can not just bring her because she is from Lebanon. Iman should get another chance but I believe she is weak too may be the week after that she will be out, for Khaled the only way to get him out is to put another Khalegee in the nomination. I think for the teachers they should kick out the weakst voice first and latter those guys who don't sing in Arabic (I don't care how well you sing in other languages but you need to sing in Arabic).
For now I think people who may stay (We can have some surprises):

Amal Tunisia: she is rude & old her voice is not great.(u need to be pretty as a singer, she looks like a man)

Nader: I did not like his eval this week, I heard him singing Ray with Khaled last time, he was good but I think it is not enough, for old people if you remember the first Starac they had a Morocain boy who was good on Ray but he could not make it

I really wanted Khaled to go. But he is annoying and funny altogether.

I think Iman have to go. She has a great voice but she sings out of tune too often.

lebeniyyeh_lal_mot, i'm not against the lebanese, i love all the arabs, i could care less about your nationality, i also said that i want Mustafa to win if not Nader...and a few yrs back i supported that lebanese guy with the stronge voice, forgot his name, the one who won. What i was saying was, that because staracademy is located in lebanon and the teachers/judges are lebanese, the students assume that they should treat their lebanese friends in a special way so the teachers would like them more and the audience would support them. And sometimes they get treated differently, you might not notice that because you're lebanese but they always favor the lebanese more. For example, in the evaluations, the dance teacher keeps saying how cute e.t.c Mustafa is and just talks about his personality instead of his actual performance. What are we supposed to do with the crap she says, we're the ones who are supposed to say that, she shouldn't act like a a starstruck teen, she should act like a JUDGE...but this only happens towards the lebanese, with the others she's strict.

P.S Nader you were so cute when you didn't know how to act like you're driving...maybe i should give you lessons ;P

Chica I agree with you, Dia should vote for Iman but I think she wants to follow Saad, since he has to vote for Jessica. To be honest with you I think Dia has a good heart the problem with her: she is too loud and not feminine at all, she is like those girls can make a good friend for a boy but he will never take her as a girl friend. I think the game should be fair by giving each one a chance. But keep voting for losers I hate that, the game starts loosing all charm.

the idea is: i'm not against that khalijis vote for khalijis etc but it's not an obligation! it's a choice!for exemple i like sooo much nader, and maybe i will vote for him when he will be nominated, causee he deserve to win, he's tunisien, he's sweet, but for imen, even if she's tunisains i don't stand her, she doesn't have a voice, and she's acting all the time (she want to be like marwa last year)! that's all.

This is first time I've read the nomination comments, and am really surprised that all of them take this "game" as real. In fact, for students, it is; but, generally, it is only about making the show more interesting and profitable. All the "profs" are a bunch of obedient servants of the LBC bosses practicing boot-licking (so they can keep their nice jobs), who follow certain guidelines in selection of the nominees. Depending on the overall show dynamics and how much particular students contribute to the popularity (= profitability) of the show - this is on what hangs their fate. Even after the nominations you can be sure for at least one who is going to stay; so all can be nicely calculated in advance (by the LBC).

For instance, why did they keep Sally in the last season so long? Why did they keep that long Shuru, and now Amal (from Tunis), who are OK in the modeling business but are absolute zeros for singing? Why is now Adnan, a hypocrite, trying to beat the system by playing his role with Asma? And so on, and on ...

The 1st season was a big success; the 2nd - a flop!. This season there is a shortage of good voices (for singing), and after the 4th season might be heading for a flop as well. The LBC bosses are too smart and will do all they can to save it. If they want to make some cash this year they will probably push harder (to work) those students who can sing (and not just have a "good voice"), and who can sing in Arabic! My safe bet is, having these parameters as guidelines, that Shahinaz, Mirhan, Saad and Mustafa (and perhaps Asma little less) will go a long way.

By the way, Loulou made good observations.
