Yesterday before the prime, Cheb Khaled dropped by the students in the Academy and spent some time with them.
It's cool that Cheb Khaled sat with them and talked as if he's known then for a long time. He spoke about his childhood, his family, his 3 girls and his wife's desire to have a boy! ... He was relaxed and enjoyed the visit as much as the students did.
Do you agree with Amal ... that most of the students in the Academy aren't being themselves?
As for after last night's prime, some students returned sad and others were telling themselves: Thank God it was Omar and not me!
Jessica was definitely hyper about returning to the Academy and she has reason to ... it was a close call!
After leaving, Omar sent a message to his friends in the Academy. He wished them the best and promised to keep in touch with them and told them he wasn't angry that he left.
But Khaled wasn't able to understand how Omar left and was wondering why the other guys didn't give him more votes! ... What can we do ya Khaled, it's a game and those are the rules!
Tell me ... how lucky are those guys to get a Play station 3 ? Shatha Hassoun paid them a visit after the prime and got them a PS3 ... they went mad! But, no doubt it's the coolest gift!
Then, Diaa received a birthday cake and it was part-ay time!

It's impossible to know who's being him/herself and who's not.
We don't know them personally and seriously that shouldn't matter right now. It's the first week and if people were to relaxed you guys would comment that too.
i really disliked how they kept talking about where they were from and like how iraq is like khaleej or watever...its not about where you are from..its about the person..no matter what their country of origin is. i really think it was annoying how khaled kept repeating the whole thing of kuwait and iraq. i also really like amal, shes really pretty, has a great voice and confident in herself which is pretty important. Omar is sooo sweet! he shouldnt have left soo early:(

I love Nader toooooo!!!!! He has been my favorite from the first prime! He sings everything so well! Everything that comes out of his mouth sounds beautiful! And I think his accent is wonderful; I don't think we should criticize his accent because...well he's just wonderful!!! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE MOUSTAFA AND SAAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A LOT!

The song that Nader sang is not his own, It's by Muse & it's called "unintended". I was shocked as to how much Nader sound's like the lead singer of that band. He sang that song very well.
Mariana, you are very right. Nader does sound so much like the lead singer in Muse. I was pretty sure i had heard that song before but couldn't put my finger on the exact name.
That being said, I believe Nader has an amazing voice and character to go with it. He seems very respectful and serious about his work but at the same time fun and relaxed. His performances aren't forced and instead he is like a natural on stage. He blew everyone away with "Aicha" when he performed with cheb Khaled.
I think a lot of the students this year have great potential and almost all can become great performers/artists if they give the right effort. Some of them have very unique sounds and the right talent to go with it. So far im pleased artistically by the students in season 5. Character wiser, im not so sure cuz we haven't really seen enough of their personalities plus the first two weeks are always not very accurate in assessing something like that.
I really really like mustepha and nader. especially nader he is very talented I don't speak any arabic so most of the time I don't know what they are talking about I wish they talk english more esp nader . and I really miss joseph I wish he would be in the next prime I think joseph and nader are the most talented good looking guys in the academy
