This prime started off with the Star Academy theme song ... The students danced and sang to the tunes of a different song this year ... What do you think of it? I thought it sounds more of a kindergarten song!
Hilda appeared on stage not from the right, nor from the left ... but from above! Nice move!
The 1st guest tonight is Cheb Khaled ... the 1st to sing with him are Algerian Amal and Syrian Adnan. They sang Mas o Louli ... I really like that song, it makes me want to boogy!
A Marionette show was the 1st portrait to the tunes of Abdul Halim's song Dihk o Laab. Nader, Saad, Abdallah, Diaa and Iman were the puppets in the show! Very nice, I loved it!
The nominees then came top the stage and each sang a different song; Omar did Ana Bdira, Jessica did Adwaa El Shuhra by Carole Samaha and Ahmad did Idhak by Mohamad Hamaki.
The 2nd guest is Star Ac 4 winner Shatha Hassoun.

The 1st girl to sing alongside Shatha is Shahinaz from Egypt. They did Shatha's debut single Rouh.
The 2nd portrait stars Mohammad, Asma and Mostafa. A few other students also were singing the chorus in the background. I think it's a medley of Rahbani songs.
Cheb Khaled again with Nader from Tunisia ... they did the famous song Aicha. I liked the duetto between them.
Then 4 guys performed the famous Iraqi song Fog El Nakhal. Saad, Mohammad, Mostafa and Adnan.
Hey! Turns out today is Diaa's B-Day! She turns 22! Happy B-day Diaa!
Then Amal sang a French song from atop the piano, while Michelle played the tune! I didn't understand the song but i sure loved her dress!
It was time for another Medley; A couple of Iraqi songs performed by Bader, Fawaz, Khaled, Mohammad, Mirhan and Abdallah with Shatha too! They did Jannah and Ismallah.
I just have to say, I loved Shatha's golden blouse!
Diaa's turn came up to sing Frozen. She performed the song from sitting atop a huge frozen-like globe!
Her voice is so suitable for songs like that, but she has to put a lot of effort to be able to progress in Arabic songs.
Shahinaz then sang alongside Shatha again.
This is the point when the voting for the nominees has stopped! Who will be the 1st to leave?
A guitar performance from all the students who know how to play the guitar, like Diaa, Omar and Nader.
As for Friend of the week ... the 1st of the season is Mirhan from Egypt.
Her prize is a supply of art material so she can be able to pursue her hobby! Cool!
Cheb Khaled came up next with his ultra-famous song Di Di! That song really makes me want to dance! Ya!
The most important part of the prime is NOW! According to audience voting, the nominee to stay is Ahmad from Egypt.
As for the students' choice, they chose to keep Jessica and let Omar go! Hard luck Omar.

I like the prime tonight it was good. Mustafa is soo cute smallah but he is such a baby everything in him is tiny i like his look on Fawaz's body. By the way noone ever brought up Fawaz dont you girls find him hot? I do! He's adorable smallah. I dont hate anyone from star academy but honestly I can't stand this girl shahinaz oh my God i hate the way she acts its unbelievable the way she shows off or the way she moves yeey she is bil mara she should go out but all the others are amazing. I just want to know one thing, is how come some students get to sing multiple times in one prime while others sing once or half a song. For example Amal from Tunis sang for like 2 minutes this time while Shahinaz (who forgot her words by the way) sings twice or three times!
i really liked this prime i thought most of the students were good..... saad has such an amazing voice he was awesome tonight... i also love mustafa, adnan, nadar, diaa, mohammad and asma.,... all those singers were natural on stage and are very talented... as for the rest i think maybe they were just a little nervous hopefully they will do better next time..... congratulations jessica and good luck omar i wish u all the best u were amazing =)

I thought that this was a great prime. This year, many of the students are very talented :). I have to say that Nadar's voice is heavenly and so beautiful. I agree with Roo, I love Mustafa, Saad, Adnan, Dia'a, and Nadar ofcourse, and Mohammed. I think Asma has a great voice, but I haven't grown that warm to her personality. I understand that she's only 16, but maybe she isn't mature enough for this show yet. Other than that she's got a great voice, and is a a great performer. I'm really sad to see Omar go, but I love Jessika as well. I wish him happiness and success. I also have to add that I love when a few of the students, stand in a line with guitars and sing a medley of songs. Is it just me, or does the opening song seem sort of...childish? I think it doesn't suit the show at all.

It seemed to me like an ordinary prime with a lot of mistakes which were expected because it was just the second prime and they have to get used to the stage and performing in front of audience. I really liked Amal (Algeria) in the prime. She's a good and classy entertainer and performer.
On the other hand I can't stand Asmaa and Adnan at all. I got surprised when she ended up in the third place. Some other students were really better than her in the last week.
By the way, Shahinaz has the best voice between them although she forgot the lyrics. She reminds me of Amani regarding both the look and voice.
Nader sang great with Cheb Khaled. Mostafa was very charismatic and sang very well. He deserved to turn top one.
Like last seasons, the songs were not distributed equally between the students. Tunisian Amal sang just few sentences and even worse Imane didn't sing any solos while nominees sang more than her!!!
I'm really happy that Niss came back but I don't think he can go on so far. Comparing to other guys, his voice is weak. Ammah's voice wasn't so good too but he was working so hard and he convinced teachers that he deserved to stay in the academy until the final prime but Niss doesn't work hard and it seems that he hasn't taken this competition serious. He have to try to impress the teachers otherwise he'll be next week's nominee for sure.
And the last surprising feature of this prime: 2 out of 4 Golf students didn't vote to Omar. Thank goodness, it seems they are starting to break this rule that Golf students have to vote for eachother. Omar was treated like an Egyptian more than a Khalijee by the students!!!!!
Ok, like like like Adnan, Mostafa, Nader, and Zaher, seriously i don't know why some of you are hating....
But seriously i don't know why but i cant stand most of the girls in the academy like Shahinaz, Dia, and more...Asma is adorable....

Ok. That's all it was, the prime was okay. This is all the people that I noticed for the past week.
Niss: LOVE HIM! He's so nice and he's always there to help his friends.
Shahinaz: Ehhhh, speak more in arabic if you wanna win.
Asma: Yes, she's 16 that means she had 16 years of discipline and learning what's right and what's wrong. That's a pretty long time yet she managaes to get on my nerves pretending to be ignorant about things shes supposed to already know..uhh attention seeker much? An example of that: having proper teeth makes people WANT to look at you more, I dont think she ever thought of that before.
Mustapha: CUTIE PIE! He's sweet and has great charisma but I think he's gonna pull a wajdi lakhal scene if he becomes nominated but only time will tell.
Adnan: LOVE HIM! He's got a great voice and he's interesting to watch. He spends way too much time flirting with Asma though, flirt with someone your own size! :D
Those two egyptian girls: 1) Bad taste in clothing, please shop somewhere decent if you want to appear attractive on tv. 2) good voices 3) one them is too damn sensitive. who cares if Niss said your nuggets were bad. Jesus Chrsit!
Jess: Sweet and kind. She needs to practice on her voice and she has to stand up for herself when 16 year olds start yelling at her.
Zaher: LOVE HIM! okay voice but he's a good guy.

this show that shada winning in SA4 was a fake. fake fake. Were are the 7 million iraqis who voted for shada, why they did not vote for Omar - The CNN and all media showed the interview with iraqi saying they vote for them they don't care whether he or she is kurdi, shiite , suni or christian. LBC cheat this year also make a Tunisian win the show for the sake of those who died in Tunisia.

I think the prime went very well. Saad was excellent I felt very bad for Abdullah after his mic shut but Saad got it. Moustapha was great and I liked Mirhan. People who are against Jessica give her a break at least she got used to the academy unlike Omar. But Omar was good 2. MaSreYa to2obrineh you r so cute lol. I've been reading the comments it was funny lol.

Hi! I want to say only one thing: It is too early to judge the candidates. They are there in the academy because they have weaknesses and those who will benefit from their stay in the academy will work hard to overcome these problems and become better performers. No one of them is perfect and the winner should be the one who makes more progress than the others. I hoped also that the teachers would judge them on the prime and give them a mark for it to make them more aware of the importance of this show because the most important moment in the life of an artist is when he is on stage not when he is taking classes or passing exams in front of 6 people.
PS: Some people think that it was nice of Saad to sing instead of Abdallah when his mike didn't work but i don't. I think that it would have been better and easier if they switched mikes so that Abdallah can sing. That's a personal opinion but i have nothing against Saad because i think he has a great voice and he is a decent guy.
i love Nader, Zaher and Mostafa woow they r the best looking there.. lol i didn't understand what's going on between asmaa n adnan but i think she's so smart to do such an idiot thing :p.. Amal (algeria) i just like this girl she's amazing and smart ;)
