The way Western people perceive Arabs and the Arab youth is not a new issue but very little has been done in the way of changing this image. What is in my opinion surprising is that Jad Choueiri has decided to take a step in bettering the image of the Arab youth in the eyes of people all over the world. How will he achieve this presumably impossible task?
Well he has gone down to the USA where he will film the music video for a new song which he wrote and composed titled ‘Funky Arab’. The song is in English and they will commence the filming of the music video in the New York studios very soon. Although this appears to be a good idea and a good step forward one cannot help but be concerned. Jad claims that he will present the Arab youth as beings of culture and intellect and as refuters of terrorism. However, if Jad is anything to go by I am not too sure we want him representing us in the Western world. What do you think?

i share the same opinion, i can't feel confortable when he will "" represent" the arab youth! especially that it's just a project, so we didn't see anything till now, thus i feel inconfortable and scared of the the idea!( idea that: he took the responsibility to represent arab youth", for the simple reason, realy he dosn't!
we don't need to proof to anyone (western world) that we are not terrorist, cause we are not and we don't care about them! hein. beside that they will never change their minds!
finaly; dancing and singing and being over over liberated, will never honore us or give us the (peacefull poeple) title! wake up!!
