Final World Bellydance Championship Prime

Last night, viewers in the Arab World, got the chance to watch the final prime of World Bellydance Championship!
The final prime was a heated competition between the remaining four dancers, Estelle from Costa Rica, Rana from Lebanon, Laila from Ukraine and Fadwa from Morocco.
It was with Lebanese singer Assi Hillani that the show ended ... during the last prime, Assi performed some of his most popular songs and even danced the Dabkeh to the tunes of his song about the Arabic horse.
The most interesting part of the show was the face to face duel between Estelle and Rana and between Laila and Fadwa. the dancing was sort of a theatrical performance, which was very effective in showing the difference of talent from one dancer to the other.

At the end and before announcing who the Best Bellydancer was ... Assi performed another song while the four girls danced to the tunes.
As for the crucial part of announcing the winner, the Best Bellydancer who will get away with a title and $50.000 ... Presenter Youssef Al Khal announced that the contestant from Costa Rica and from Lebanese origins Estelle is the winner!

Congratulations Estelle!

Everytime I hear something about a show on LBC I just laugh at how pointless their shows are; pieces of junks to say the least.

Oh, and next week Star Academy begins, WTF? They don't get bored of these shows? The same old tiring formula, no wonder STARAC has been getting less viewers the last couple of years....

Because the show take place in Lebanon, it is easy for you to favour and cheat. LBC are becoming expert in cheeting. There have done in Star Academy 3 and 4 and also Mission fasion 1 and 2 and now this show.
Estele has expressed her problems so the 50,000 was given to her to buy the house she was dreaming of.

Shatha won because American was behind this game. Marwa was suppose to win.
So LBC the star Academy 5 cheat again please for the sake of Tunsians.

    I agree with zuzu ..
I am egyptian and i dont want cheating in any of the competitions but this doesnt have to do anythin with lebanon and labanese it is with those who owns the channel and the managers of these programs . Frankly ,Estelle deserved to win , She is amazing . I wanted estelle or layla from ukraine to win because they're both brilliants .

I f you think Marwa is better qualified to win than Shatha, then there is no point into answering you, you are probably an idiot
If you think anybody was better than Estelle at dancing, or Michael in Mission Fashion, then I feel sorry for your IQ limit
If you think anyone was better than Joseph Attieh, poor you, go to hell

Ya 3am ana olt eno their shows are pointless. And that is my opinion, eh el dakhl Lebanon fel mawdo3, don't be so sensitive. Everyone loves their country and thinks it's the best, I respect that, and it's normal to think that way.

Bas it doesn't deserve to be made a big deal, because we are all intitled to our own opinions.

3al 3omom forget about it, we are all arabs, and we should all respect each other.

I feel sorry for all the hatred, the extremism and the aggression I feel, listen to and sense whenever any discussion is opened between a group of Arabs.

Is this who we are a bunch of extremists attacking each other for a designer, a singer and a belly dancer?! Or a bunch of idiots defending the fact that X is a better belly dancer because she is lebanese not Egyptian or that Y is singing better because he is Tunisian. Have we lost our minds here? I swear I cant believe this!

The ones you are fighting for whether Lebanese, Moroccan, Egyptian, Tunisian have no talent at all and the proof is that they don’t achieve the least the success after the "star making show" is over and you all know it.

They are losers and the programs that show them are produced by losers and they are trying to expand their losers group by turning us into losers to join them.

And I wonder why we are still stuck in our dark hole whereas the whole world is moving forward. People have made it to the moon more than fifty years ago and we are fighting because of some naked girls who are shaking their bodies.

Wherever you are, whoever you are please stop this nonsense it will just turn you into sick, narrow, deformed minds with dysfunctional heads, hands, legs and a VERY BIG MOUTH.

I cant help but comment on the outrageous comments that the Judges made in the Final Prime for Layla the Ukranian young lady.. I thought that this sort of show would be the last place racism.. Specifically the comments of Simon Asmar about Layla having a GENETIC DEFECTS in not being an Arab.. Why on earth would you call this program THE WORLD BELLY DANCR CHAMPIONSHIPS and invite someone who is not an arab to insult them instead of giving them constructive criticism Irrespective if she should win or not...

I am an Lebanese American who was raised in the States, I always would tell everyone how we have so many problems but at least we are not racist... Well Simone Asmar has just proved me wrong. I think anywhere else in the world he could be sued for his racist comments.

I agree, those LBC shows are so cheesy. Especially, when every one on their shows injects themselves with either fake tits or botox
