There is always a lot to say when Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe comes up and not all of it is positive but nobody can deny that her work for the ‘Red Ribbon’ campaign is amiable. As part of her being the Aids Ambassador for the Arab World, Haifa will be appearing in Morocco aboard the ‘Megarama’ ship to benefit the ‘Red Ribbon’ organization on the 18th of January.

Many other stars have been given the title of Aids Ambassador and if you recall last year Razan and Carolina, two MBC presenters, represented the Arab world in an event organized by the ‘Red Ribbon’ organization. I think it is an excellent move forwards for the Arab world to begin to look at an issue such as that of Aids as it has been a taboo subject for so many years.
