Whilst I was watching ‘El Araab’ or the ‘The Godfather’ this weekend when Nishan was interviewing Hind Sabri and Sumaya El Khashab I realized how many times these two stars claimed that the media was too harsh on them. It made me wonder as to how true these statements were. I mean it is the choice of the artist to put themselves under the limelight and like with every occupation there are consequences. I see the media as the voice of the people but what Sumaya El Khashab was saying is that a journalist would say ‘Your fans want to know who your latest husband was?’ but in reality her fans don’t care about this.
I have to disagree; when you see a movie and connect with an actor or actress then you feel like you want to know them personally. I really think Arabic media is a lot easier to handle than the Western paparazzi! I mean at least you don’t have photographers outside your bathroom window waiting to get a shot of you in the shower in Egypt.

too Harsh!! give me a break ... the media isn't even covering their basic news, i hope paparazzi will pop up in Egypt and the rest of the Arab world to show Sumaya and other Arab celebrities what harash means!!!

first , the arabic media isn't harsh at all comparing it to the european or américan media.
second , i like sumaya khachab in her series, but after waching this program, i found her very sathéya,and can't exprss herself well like hind,
btw, i like hind very much and i realy respect her, she know what she'is doing and she know what she want and the most important she's true, sadiqa ma3a nafsaha o ma3a nass; beside a strong personality. so i think that sumaya khashab wasn't in need to apear with hind in the same episod! i think.
