Tonight the prime was very special because it's guest of honor was Lebanese singer Carol Samaha and because the main theme of the defile was 'Bridal Gowns'.
The prime kicked off with a performance from Samaha, the display of the two nomination dresses, designed by the brothers Joe and Michael! Personally, i liked Joe's design more. It was more creative and colorful than that of Michael's! Sorry Man!
It was then time for another display of Elie Saab's designs, this time an exclusive Spring/Summer 2008 collection ... The dresses were absolutely stunning, each piece to die for! The yellow is so fresh and happy, the green so vibrant! I loved the green dress that Amina wore! It's just absolutely out of this world! Elie, you're a genius!
Then it was time for the designers to show what they've been toiling at for the past few days ...
Yasmeen's dress, on Abir, was great!
Khaled's dress, on Amina, was different. I didn't like ti much, but the judges were impressed with it's difference!
Joe's dress, on Amira, was very beautiful.
Michael's dress, on Hanaa, was also out of the norm. I also didn't like it much, although it's a daring design.
Slim's dress, on Myriam, was very elegant. I really liked his design this time.
The most important part, the results of the voting ... was very hard on the brothers ... But, the rules of the game state that a designer and a model have to leave every Friday!
So, the designer to stay is Michael ... the model to stay is Myriam ...
Sorry, but i have to say this ... It was time for Abir to leave!

First of all mabrouk la Michael and Miriam. They deserved to stay but basically I think it was a big mistake to choose Joe as a nominee while ordinary designers like Sleem and Khaled are still there. Joe was top one in several primes but Khaled and Sleem have not make it until now. Honestly, for the first time in the history of TV shows of this kind ( Star Academy, Perfect Bride, X- Factor, superstar and ...) I felt exteremely sorry for a contestant .It was a fair final it we had Yasmeen, Michael and Joe as the 3 finalists. Anyway, Joe left the prime in the best was someone could. His design impressed judges and got the highest score and it's rediculous the nominees that have to be the weakest between contestants got the highest scores in the prime. Isn't it a good time to reconcider the way they are choosing the nominees?
Regarding the models, sorry to say but it was Abeer's turn to leave the competition.
I think it'll be a fair result if Amina wins between models( I'm quite sure she'll be the winner) and between designers it's really difficult to guess but I think Yasmeen and Michael both desrve the title.

For designer I was disappointed on Khaleed, his last dress was a real joke. He had Amina and he makes a short dress I don’t know how he did though that will be fine? He had his chance to show what he can do but he failed big time.

but this year fortunately there is ameena cos they others re not good at all.
love ammina she's the perfect arab model, for the jury, for the models, fo rthe designers, for the people she is the BEST ..taratata lebanese models are great, but maybe almost all of them work with modeling agencies so they cant participate in the show. ammina is professional as skills, but she doesnt work with an agency.
