giant scorpion

I don't like to think of ordinary scorpions, the normal sized ones in the desert, they give me the chills!
How about a scorpion that's bigger than me! Aaaahhh!!!
Thank God those don't exist in our time, but it seems they did a few hundrer million years ago.
Paleontologists discovered a giant fossilized claw in Germany, that once belonged to an 2.5 meter long sea scorpion.
It's approximately 400 million years old!
The paleontologists say: "We have known for some time that the fossil record yields monster millipedes, super-sized scorpions, colossal cockroaches, and jumbo dragonflies. But we never realized until now just how big some of these ancient creepy-crawlies were".
Eurypterids, or ancient sea scorpions, are believed to be the extinct aquatic ancestors of today's scorpions and possibly all arachnids, a class of joint-legged, invertebrate animals, including spiders, scorpions, mites and ticks.
