Well as always this was an invigorating and exciting prime for Mission Fashion 2007! As always there was a theme for the dresses that the designers had to create and this week it was: ‘Gypsy Chique’! Ely Saab, who set the theme, admitted that this theme was demanding and tested the cultural knowledge of the contestants! However, after seeing the designs he said the over half of the contestants designed good dresses which is a good sign. The prime had an exciting tableaux which was also choreographed around the theme of ‘Gypsy’.
Also heating things up this prime was the singer Yara. She had previously visited the Fashion Academy and was presented with designs from each contestant and she chose Khaled, from KSA, and Sleem’s, from Tunisia, designs because they were most suited to her. This obviously then gave them immunity from being voted off this week. However, Seema and Essam were not so lucky! They were the designer nominees this week and Seema had her husband and daughter flown over from Bahrain to support her.
As for the models, they got to show off Eli Saab’s " Prêt- a- Porter’ collection for winter 2007-2008! Again a very taxing task and the judges encouraged the models saying that whilst modeling this dress it is essential to stay soft to stay true to the dress which is very difficult. Being soft was the last thing on Dunya and Eliaan’s minds who were the nominees this week!
At the end of the show the audience and contestants said there farewells to Dunya who received 44% of the votes and Essam who received a mere 26% of the votes. Looking forward to another week ,and another prime in the infamous Fashion Academy.

why elyan????? she is not a model Dunia was better than her and Kholoud too. i don't know the secret behind Elyan staying, i am wondering Elyan is the worst one in her walk , she really kill the dress so she kill the dress designer she doesn't deserve to stay in the school, and always she got the lowest evaluation. I think that the evaluation must come from the professional people so when they gave her in the prime lower nos. than the girls she must leave. I want to say to people who like her please look to her walk, she is very short to be a model, we are not evaluating the personality we need a professional model in the final. please stop in supporting her we must give the opportunity to the best.

i totaly agree with you! and even if i don't like abir's personality( except humor sight); but really elyan must go (not for abir); but for the designer's savety !! she just kill the dress and kill the designer's career!!
as sebahi said, she is perfect for videos clips, or on magazines (even with plastic surgery but she's beautiful), or maybe work as an actress in Cinema! but cut walk! nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

thanks cherr for your support, I agree with u too about Abir , I hate her personality but to be honest Abir is much better than Elyan in her walk. but i think Elyan will stay this time too because people hate Abir. i hope not because we are evaluating her work not her personality . pls guys we must give the opportunity to the best.
with pleasur Hany, we think alike ;-) really i hope that they vote for the one who deserve to stay and if she stay she will make it, i know in this case, even abir( over wieght), can't do somthing big! but at least she doesn't kill the dress! walla i have pity on designer's (especially Romeo and this week it's Slim turn, so hard luck)

Hi people! I do not like Abeer but surprisingly i respect her for the simple reason that she is as honest with herself as much as she is honest with people around her! She is not wearing a mask or being hypocrite with anybody, she just says what she wants to say without calculating anything! And that is rare to find people like that itoday and i think that is the reason why people hate her! We do not like people who r different, we r raised to like what is standard and any exception is looked down at! She may be exagerating in her way of wearing clothes or telling anything about her personal life without being ashamed of it but in the end as she herself said she is harming no one but herself! As a model, i see that her only problem is with her weight and she recognized that too but weight is not a big problem, she can loose weight if she really wants to but when it comes to the walk or expressions or photo shoots she is really good at that!
Please do not judge people before u know exactly who they r because i think that Abeer inspite of all her defects (and who does not have defects!) is a good person so let her please live the way she chose to!

por la maudite et notre beau romeo et bien elle et sa copine elles sont partis se moquer de lui ds la salle interview, lui a entendu tt, il s'est faché, et hop la discussion entre eux, j'ai remarqué que la maudite est très hypocrite, elle a essayé de calmer la discussion en parlant correctement; puis derrière le dos de Romeo elle a dit des méchancetés , elle a fait la même chose avec Nariman avant-hier, c une vraie vipère malélévée
pour Elyane, tt l'monde dit que la discussion avec elle est impossible, c vrai! elle est rès têtue, j'l'aimais bien, mais j'ai changé d'avis le jour où elle a choisi le camp de la vipère Abir.
