According to celebrity news show Mayfoutaksh, which airs on Zoom and Mazzika channels, Egyptian diva Angham has received an invitation to attend the 2007 World Music Awards. She flew from Lebanon on the 2nd of November and is currently in Monaco, home of the awards. This comes amidst speculation of a third win for Amr Diab this year in the show which awards the artist with the highest sales in their respective regions.
Angham was quoted as saying: "Yes, I received an official invitation from the World Music Awards organization, asking me to participate in the event. Although I believe this is just an invitation and has nothing to do with winning, since I know Amr Diab is a possible candidate for the award."
Angham also gave some details about the state of her highly-anticipated debut long-métrage movie "Mikano". She is slated to star alongside talented Egyptian actor Sherif Mounir. However the production was temporarily halted so that Sherif would have enough time to promote his latest movie "El Shayateen". Upon her return from Monaco, she will be heading to Lebanon to start shooting her new R&B song "Dah Elli Indi", from her wildly successful summer album, "Kol Ma Ne'arrab".
The video will be her third collaboration with talented Egyptian director, Ahmad El Mahdy, who is currently putting the final touches on Pepsi's upcoming blockbuster, "Baher El Noujoum". The one-of-a-kind movie will star Arab singers Haifa Wehbe, Wael Kfoury, Carole Samaha, Rowayda elMahrougi and Ahmed El Sherif.

Amr Diab Is a good singer but I don't think he deserves to win this award for this album, his older songs are much better...he has become very westernized. I think Najwa Karam, Tamer Hosny, or Carole Samaha should have won the award they are the best and most deserving of this award. Congratulations to Amr Diab for winning this award for the 3rd time.
