In the past Nancy Ajram made everyone angry when she was asked to perform in the Egyptian Opera House. It was argued that the Egyptian Opera House is and remains a symbol of classical ‘pure’ music and that Nancy was not experienced and up to the level of the Opera House. History is repeating itself as the moment Carole Samaha was chosen to sing at the ‘Arabian Music’ convection in the Egyptian Opera House. As soon as her name was announced critics, journalists and the general public were enraged.

According to them Carole does not have a strong enough voice to be granted this ‘honor’ and that she makes ‘inappropriate’ video clips. To be honest, I think this is pathetic! Carole is an excellent singer, some of her songs are extremely powerful and I dislike the way that it seems there is some form of discrimination against young artists. I don’t think Carole will let this get to her and I truly believe that she will go and give an amazing performance!
