The search has begun for the newest contestants who will take part in the upcoming and fifth season of Future Super Star. The search began in Tripoli North of Lebanon and nearly 260 people flooded in with the hope of getting a shot at fame. Since the early hours of the morning people came to Quality Hotel from Syria and many other Arab countries to perform to the judges. The styles that were presented were extremely different and whilst some had funny stories to tell but terrible voices, others showed some real talent.
The contestants sang, danced and acted for the judges hoping to do anything to get them to say ‘We will see you in Beirut’. Unfortunately, only one contestant made it through and he was only 14 years old! The judging panel included: Elias Al Rahbani, AbdAllah Al Qaoud, Zeyad Al Rahbani and Egyptian vocal instructor Jehan El Nasser.

The new hosts are Majdala and Wael Mansour. Majdala was a contestant on Miss Lebanon 2004 and Wael Mansour was a contestant on Superstar 1.
