Lebanese singer Rola Saad just concluded the filming of another video clip for her song ‘Habeebi’ (My Love). The video clip was filmed in Egypt and directed by Egyptian director Ahmed Kardous who directed her movie ‘Ghorfa 707’. The video clip looks very promising and the story is of a simple country girl, Rola, who falls in love with and eventually marries an Aristocrat from a rich family. The clip then continues in a comic manner with the images of the ‘rich people’s’ wedding traditions juxtaposed with the ‘simple people’s’ wedding traditions.

Rola Saad new video clip

Ahmed Kardous chose to use a camera used for cinematic production to film the video clip which I think is an excellent idea as it will really enhance the image received by our TV sets. The filming of the clip took only two days, one of which was spent at the Egyptian Studio and the other at the Media Production City. Quite an original storyboard fro a video clip but we will have to wait and see if it is as good as it promises.
