Many of you will be watching the final episodes of ‘El Malek Farouk’ on MBC and enjoying the exquisite acting that is part of this new show. One of the stars Mena Fadaly who plays Queen Farida in ‘El Malek Farouk’ says that this is one of the most important parts for her career and that although it was a difficult one she is glad she took it. She also says that in one of the scenes where Syrian actor Tayem Hassan, who plays King Farouk, is supposed to ask her to give birth to a boy and punch her in the stomach, she was injured.

The injury was sustained because Tayem got so into the scene he began to properly punch her and she couldn’t do anything so as to not ruin the scene. Obviously by the nature of the topic of this series it is a highly important one and I think that Mena and Tayem have done an amazing job. Mena also just finished filming her new movie ‘Esalney Ana’ (Ask Me) where she plays a video clip director.
