Siham

In a both entertaining and highly emotional interview on Jaras TV, Syrian-Lebanese-Emirati poet Siham Sha'sha' spoke about her upcoming projects and past. Siham is, an addition to a poet praised by the great Nizar Qabbani, the editor-in-chief of Romancia magazine. Siham explained how she turned her feelings of begging to forget and move on with life into Ibrahim El Hakami's hit "Shou Benni". She spoke of how "Shou Benni" enveloped her feelings after the death of her soul mate and love. She lost the love of her life in Beirut, and after a long period of being unable to come back due to the bitter memory of his death, she finally put her sadness aside and came. However, as soon as the control played her friend Hussain El Jassmi's "Fegadtek", Siham burst into tears.

Siham recovered later after taking a break and spoke of more lighthearted subjects. She mentioned how her friend Asalah described the music business today: "These days when they say this singer has huge emotion, they mean she has a huge chest!" She also spoke of her next few songs. She revealed that Hussain El Jassmi will be singing his first Lebanese song, and it will be of her lyrics. Elissa is recording another one of Siham's poems, and Amal Hijazi is expected to work with Siham. She revealed that Star Academy 4 winner Shatha Hassoun's first single will be written by Siham and composed by Nicolas Saadeh Nakhleh (composer of Adam's hits, and Carole Samaha's former manager). Good luck Siham!
