You may have heard about a movie that was supposed to star Lebanese star Haifa Wehbe along with the late Egyptian actor Ahmed Zaki. Well Haifa was basically removed from the movie, which goes by the name of ‘Rasael El Bahr’, by the director Dawood Abdel Sayed and instead Ruby has been asked to take her place. Obviously this all took place before the shooting started and a contract was signed, otherwise it would have been a much bigger deal! Dawood claims that he has been rethinking the entire move, especially after all the young stars like Karim Abdel Aziz refused to replace Ahmed Zaki, and so rethought casting Haifa.

Whether or not Haifa will be happy about being replaced by Ruby especially, we will just have to wait and see. Also I think it was very smart of all the young stars to refuse to replace Ahmed Zaki because to take on a role that was meant for a legend means extremely high expectations. Although they may have been able to handle it, I think it was more intelligent to just avoid such a part.
