Some of you may have seen ‘Fawazeer Halima’ on Al Rai, well it turns out that Halima Boland’s participation in this project may be illegal. Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal has officially sued Halima for breaching the contract she has with his company Rotana! Apparently Halima’s contract stated that she cannot partake in projects with anyone but Rotana and obviously ‘Fawazeer Halima’ breaks this contract. Prince Al-Waleed’s lawyer asked the court to issue an order for the show to be taken off the air but the sentencing was delayed till the 30th of this month.

This is obviously good news for Halima who guaranteed that a good amount of episodes from her show will in fact be seen by the public. ‘Fawazeer Halima’ wasn’t widely publicized before Ramadan and this may be because Halima knew that Prince Al- Waleed wouldn’t be very happy. Nobody knows to whose favour the outcome of this case will be but I’m sure justice will be served.
