Lebanese singer Elissa has entered a war zone and her opponents are those women known as ‘seductive singers’ which include Nagla and Maria. The reason this battle erupted is that Elissa appeared in a well known soap commercial and one of the scenes had her in a bathtub. Not much attention would have been paid to this had Elissa not constantly and rightfully criticize all the singers like Maria who also appeared in bathtubs as part of their video clips!
However, this isn’t the worst part it seems hat Elissa is agreeing to any offer to be in a commercial even just as a background dancer and not the ‘star’ of the commercial. This may very well be the reason that Pepsi didn’t renew her ‘Nojoom Pepsi’ contract with Elissa.
What I don’t understand is why such a successful singer like Elissa would turn herself into a cheap product placed in every advert by companies in the hope of increasing revenue. Is it a greed for money or more fame on Elissa’s part?

Elissa is one of the best Lebanese singers , yet sometimes she makes unapproved decisions like filming ads for LUX without being the star of these ads , in addition to not choosing the superior companies to advetise for ..... she makes some mistakes , but in the domain of singing , she will always be in the way ahead. . .

Firstly Dalia thank you for your comment but unfortunately im not rented by anyone to diss anyone else... although it does sound like a profitable job! lol jk! But seriously, with all due respect this is my opinion and i dont see why you would insult me for expressing it! It is true Elissa is willing to make an advert for any company... i agree she is an artist with a beautiful voice but she is also advert hungry and i dont understand why! I will even go far enough to say im a fan of hers which is why it concerns me to see her letting herself down so much!
Karim... ive seen a lot of actors or singers or celebs in general being asked this question.. and u know what their answer usually was? its because their very popular, all the huge companies want them in their commercials and i am convinced with what theyre saying.. its not like shes making adverts for any companies.. if u come to think of it, most of them are multinational companies.. so try to think of it that way,, it is true, elissa appears in a lot of adverts but that is only because she is the most famous singer on the field right now.. with no competitors!
anyway, in general, ive read most of ur articles and ive always felt that somehow you were exaggerating to make your articles interesting or that you were just copying what youve heard or seen somewhere.. no offence and im sorry if i was too rude on my first post
