They say it’s not easy getting old and that it can affect your head and this was proved quite comically by Egyptian dancer and actress Fifi Abdou. In a recent interview Fifi was asked about Haifa Wahbe and she said that Haifa was a phase and that Egyptians don’t like her, instead she claims Egyptians like true Egyptian beauty. Fifi then went on to compare herself to Haifa saying that she was better looking and that she, Fifi, was the real thing and that Haifa was a fake.

The insults and jabs go on and in my opinion it’s outright pathetic. I'm not saying that Haifa is an artist or anything but it seems Fifi is in denial over the fact that she could be Haifa’s grandmother! Haifa’s manager made a statement saying he refused to let Haifa comment on this outrageous interview and added that Fifi obviously forgot how much older she is than Haifa. It’s sad really that Fifi would lose her self respect in front of her fans in this way.
