Many have blamed it on MBC’s program ‘Album’ but the fact is, there is a number of bands that have started surfacing especially in Egypt these days. This summer you might have heard of ‘Seneen’ a new boy band who recorded their first album and video clip both of which were a hit! A new band has released an album and video clip but this time it’s called ‘wave’. The new and different thing about this band is that it is made up of 2 males and 2 females which is a first for Arab bands generally.
The members of wave are: Ahmad, Tayam, Manar and Soozy. All of whom studied Arab music in University and were adopted by distributor Hany Kamal. The band started very small but was successful in the small amount of concerts they performed before their album, now with a video clip and album they plan to sing at larger concerts during Ramadan. The public seems to be reacting well to bands simply because it’s something new but time will prove if these bands can stay around like singers such as Amr Diab. Usually one or two of the members stand out and leave the band with bigger dreams of individual success. Who knows?!

no it isnt the first time that a band consists of 2 males and 2 females there waas a band last year but they didnt do anything so far.. anywayz i liked seneen but they have to do something with their looks..and the way their videoclip looks as well ..
What about wama??? i didnt hear from these guys since a long time, does anyone know if they are still together, and if yes, are they working a new album??
