Although Amr Diab has an undeniable past it seems that Tamer Hosni is climbing the ladder fast and trying to catch up to him. An agency recently put Tamer’s name forward for a part that for a long time was known to belong to Amr Diab. The movie in question is about Al Andalus when it was under Islamic rule. As for the motivation behind this sudden change in mind some say that Tamer proved himself through his latest movie ‘Amr W Salmah’ and so he deserves to be considered.

Others, however, see it as a business decision! It is obvious that anything Tamer is part of receives quite an outstanding amount of publicity whether good or bad which tends to increase the turnout at the theatres. Obviously it was the agency that put tamers name forward and not him so keep in mind that this may not have anything to do with the alleged statements Tamer made about being superior to Amr Diab.
