Anyone who has seen ‘Omaret Yakoubian’ will have witnessed actor Khalid El Sawi playing a homosexual character and after he did such a great job people started claiming he himself was a homosexual!
After that commotion Khalid said he would never repeat the part but it seems former Ms Egypt Heba El Sisi is not learning from his so called mistake and has taken on the role of a homosexual in a new movie herself.
This movie goes by the name of ‘Heena Maysara’ and Heba plays a homosexual girl who becomes friendly with another girl in a random town where the events of the film occur…
Heba says that she found the role very tempting and hopes the boldness of the role will provoke a good reaction from audiences. It’s quite brave of Heba to take on such a role and I do hope that she doesn’t face the same issues that actor Khalid El Sawi faced, because homosexuality is a reality of our time and shouldn’t be a taboo subject.

I'm sorry but whoever can't distinguish between the actor and the character they play is in a dire need of a reality check. H*mosexuality exists all around they world. Why SHOULDN'T it be protrayed in film and tv? Just because an actor plays a H*mosexual doesn't mean they are. Come on people! So what if they are? That's really none of the public's business. That is between them and god. No one else.
i think that Heba played the part very well, but Kariem got the movie wrong. Somaya el Kashab met Heba in a train and Heba takes her to her house and tries to attack Somaya. And this is only one of the things that Somaya goe through in the film, and it does not impact the main plot of the story.
