As Sherine was interviewed in the ritual pre-show interview at the Carthage Festival, she dropped a bombshell. Sherine Abdelwahab married musical arranger Mohammed Mustafa 48 hours ago at midnight!

Sherine said, "at 11:30 pm I didn't know I was going to be married, at 12 I was! It was Mohammed's spontaneous idea and I didn't want to spoil his fun. He is 'hob omri' [the love of my life]". She called her manager and asked to him to bring two rings and announce the wedding at midnight!

Sherine expressed her excitement at performing her first concert as a married woman. She also expressed her thanks to Asalah Nasri and Walid Saad for sticking by her side through thick and thin. Sherine reminisced with the audience also about how the late and great Tunisian singer Zekra had trusted in her talent and told her she belonged on the Carthage stage. Sherine sang a tribute to Zekra in the form of the latter's hit "Youm Aleik".

Sherine kicked off her concert as the first true "Bride of Carthage" and performed hits such as "Ah Ya Leil" and "Ketir Bena'sha", which were collaborations with her new husband.
