Nancy Ajram held a press conference in Amman - Jordan, after her concert at Jerash Festival.
The concert, which is her third participation in the famous festival, was a success.
The conference was held at Radisson SAS Amman & was attended by many journalists both from Jordan & the Arab world.
But it was one journalist in particular that shook the atmosphere of the conference; an Israeli journalist asked Nancy about the way she would feel singing in front of an audience of her Israeli fans ...
This question provoked the attendance & lead to the organizers asking the journalist to leave the conference hall!
Nancy chose not to answer the question & preferred to say that she will consider that that question was never asked.

Anyhow, in regards to the comment about Syria remaining an enemy of Israel, at least it had the guts to stand against the unjust Israeli regime when the other Arab countries ran to make peace with this blood-shedding, ethnic cleansing institution. I live in the US, and I have many Jewish friends who do not believe in the existence of Israel and denounce its government on a daily basis. Does that make them haters of peace? not at all!!! But, sometimes you need to take a stance when thousands of Palestinians are subjugated on a daily basis to inhumane treatments and insensitive words from the Israeli/Zionist government. How could one make a peace with a nation built on bloodshed and continues to rise by severing Muslim and Arab heads? Well,honestly,I don't think that Israeli reporter deserved to be kicked out in this manner,because her question was polite and normal...Nancy should have answered the question asked comfortably because this is a personal opinion and the answer might be affirmative or negative according to her own beliefs....Let me ask all the Arabs sharing in this context one question:Why did this reporter cause so much feedback by the time most of the Arab countries have official and unofficial relations with Israel? With respect to Syria,Syria says that it doesn't want any relationships with Israel,but take a look at its leader Al Asad as he begs Olmert for a truce between both countries~!!!!!That's insane!!!!!
I personnaly think that Nancy could have given a concrete answer to the journalist. Even if it is an Israeli, being Israeli does not automatically mean being Jew. The journalist could have asked that question for Palestinian or Arab fans living in Israel. If Nancy Ajram can give a concert in America, in front of an Arab audience(2nd country in the world with a big Jewish population). Why can't she then give a concert in Israel before an arab audience???? However, the Lebanon-Israel war is involved in this matter.

When does it stop????? I understand that to live in a country where your family has suffered greatly is horrific. Just like the little Palestinan child suffers, so does the little Jewish child as does the Lebanese child. Whomever is right or wrong or whomever started it....can't it stop? Why can't we live in peace among each other dispite our differences. God created us all & is probably sickened by what is going on.

I am SYRIAN, and the only reason Bashar was trying to make peace between Syria and Israel was solely to get the Golan back. Peace doesn't mean they like each other. Peace means they come to a common understanding and they leave each other alone. In the end Syria was the one letting all the Lebanese refugees come into Syria when Israel was bombing Lebanon. Giving food and shelter. Lebanese should have some gratefulness. Weather you like or dislike the Syrian government in the end out of all the Arab countries Syria was there!

The war started July 12, and I was in DAMASCUS when the war was going on, and I didn't see any Lebanese mistreated in Syria.
