A whole real TV program, contestants from around the Arab world, sms voting & one heck of a scandal! How did this last part slip by LBC?
Turns out, not all those boys & girls, have met for the 1st time on the show 'Perfect Bride' ... one couple, Patricia & Basel, participated in the program & supposedly swindled LBC into thinking that they've never met before!
But ... Surprise! ... Those two were in a love relationship long before the program came along! But things didn't work out for them then, because of religious differences.
According to Elaph, Journalist Randa Al Mur, revealed the whole plot in her program 'Black & White' ... she did her homework & an insider told her that Pat & Basel have plotted to participate in the program because their 1st go at marriage failed!
So, people! If you fell in love with this couple, voted for them & cheered for them ... you were tricked!
It was all a set up ... did LBC know about this? We're not sure ...
But, what will happen now? Will the voting results be changed? Will the audience have confidence that the other couples aren't also acting?

Unless you have proof of this alleged "Scandal" then your lead story needs to be written in a way that conveys to your readers that this is perhaps so far an unsubstantiated rumor, allegation, etc. But the report you posted makes it seem that this is a factual piece or reporting. Journalistic ethics should be upheld always in order to retain crediblity and legitimacy. Our culture loves rumors and conspiracy theories..
Unless this reporter is coming right out and accusing the LBC of collusion and dishonesty, what are the chances of these two people who already had a relationship, being selected out of the thousands who applied? And why did they not fall in together right from the start? Wasn't Bassel checking out Rasha and others as possible partners in the beginning?

A Move in the Right Direction

I don’t watch the 24/24 but I do watch the daily show. Today, I was happy to find the Psychologist meet with the two most psychologically disturbed girls, Possy & Lina.
It was very obvious that both girls were still on the denial phase and don’t seem to realize that their failure to hook up with any of the guys was due to personality deficiency. Both girls are trying to show that their being rejected by the male candidates was their own choice. The poor things went on describing how all guys were after them since the beginning of the show and they were the ones who turned them down. It was very pathetic listening to them talk about previous love relationships that didn’t work because the guys again were not good enough to meet their standards. I don’t know but this may be the case of Lina ’cause people claim she is extremely wealthy but come on, both girls are the least feminine and least attractive girls in the show. I need they have to confront themselves and address their personality deficiencies in a more serious way. My believe is that if both girls knew exactly their short-comings they might work with the psychologist in developing their points of strength to be more attractive to the opposite sex and maybe, in Lina’s case settle for a left-over guy. Lina cannot settle for Mo2ayed, though he is a decent guy because her ego. She cannot forget the fact that he chose Fatiema over her and now with Fatiema gone, she is the better of two evils!
I still think Patty & Bassel are the only sane and perfect couple.

If you've been watching closely u'd know that Aymen told mouayed and the other guys that Lina wants him and she’s just waiting a move from him or something like that.
And recently, Mouayed said if it wasn't for what Aymen said, he would have had a go with lina. Mouayed chose Fateema because she had no link with any guy. But Aymen's comment restricted Mouayed from going with Lina.
And somebody said Lina and pousy are ugly, that is very rude.
And Mouayed yesterday pissed me off with the dailies. When Fateema left, he became habayeb with Pousy, Lina and Najid. I remember during star academy days, Shatha winning was apparently cheating and she didn’t get the highest votes, but apparently Mohammed or Marwa did. That’s not my belief, but what some ppl said.

For “Shada” in STAR ACADEMY you are wrong, she got the highest vote: 7 million people vote from Iraq only, added to that people who vote from Saudi Arabia, north Africa and of course other places in the world, even if Rula Saad liked more Marwa from Tunisia…today Mouayad vote was not bad because people in Iraq vote and also the phone operators made sure to give a good prices, they show it in many TVS when Shada won….
For me in “perfect bride” I want the guys who get married, stay married that is the whole deal. Talking by Mexican movies I believe the only one who is playing a Mexican movies is Aya, she is running after a mirage. Personally I have the conviction that Wassin is not in love, now since he saw the prize, he wants to cash it.

I was definding Aya, wassim, kholod, poussy, lina, gahbi, fatima, mona, suhail and the others where LBC didnt show them in good picture, LBC tried the best to show the bad side of each of the participants so all of us will say wooow about bassil and patty,
