Bahraini actress Wafa Maky was transported to a medical facility in Kuwait whilst she was filming the new series ‘Al Hasad Al Mur’ but after medical tests the hospital accused her of attempting to commit suicide. Wafa suffered from an unexpected drop in her blood pressure which was the effect of taking an overdose of Brufen 600 and Panadol. Wafa denies that she attempted suicide and instead said that during the filming of her show and for that entire day she was suffering from a headache and she took the pills hoping they would immediately get rid of the pain.

The medical board at the hospital was surprised at the amount of both medications that they found in the star’s bloodstream and so accused her of attempting suicide. Wafa thanks all those working on ‘Al Hasad Al Mur’ for standing by her in what she describes as a ‘health issue’ and especially the director Mohammed Al Shemry who stopped the filming of the show in order for her to rest and regain her health.
