Recently the manager for the ‘Al Mashreq Al Arabi’ group from the MBC show ‘Album’ Ayman El Thahabi had an interview with a major online newspaper where he spoke quite a bit about his ex-wife Asalah. One of the most interesting parts of this interview was that when Ayman was asked about weather he could ever find a new Asalah he replied that he already had and that she was the Iraqi contestant from his group in Album who goes by the name of Aseel.

According to Ayman whilst Asalah may have the experience Aseel has better charisma, voice and performance qualities and that a tribute to Aseel’s ability is that just a few days after the show ended she signed a contract with Rashed El Majid. Ayman El Thahabi went on to tell the reporter that he made Asalah and he can make another Asalah and launch her into the world of music.

This raised the questions and rumors that Ayman actually plans to not only launch Aseel but even marry his ‘new Asalah’. Ayman also said that he feels Asalah has done worse for herself and that in her latest album he only liked two songs ‘Aktar’ and ‘Arud Leeh’. Ayman stressed that he speaks as a manger and producer and not a jealous ex-husband. Weather or not Ayman is jealous is a matter we leave to his discretion but we wish Aseel all the luck with her future!
