It seems that Tunisian Star Academy candidate Bahaa El Kafy has decided to make her first steps in the field of acting and will do so through the upcoming Egyptian movie ‘Es’alny ana’ (Ask Me)! Other stars in this movie include Shereef Mekawey, Mena Fadel, Amr Khowershed and Ola Ramy. Bahaa will be playing herself in the movie and will appear as a guest of honor to sing a duet with Shereef and another song by herself.

Bahaa’s part was supposed to be played by May El Kasab however after she signed the contract and recorded the song her and the producer had several disagreements which lead to the termination of the contract and May being substituted by Bahaa. Bahaa told reporters that although she didn’t plan to go into acting at this point in time she is glad she did because the producers and the stars of this movie treat her with love and she feels she is amongst her family and they all help her to appear in the best way possible. We wish Bahaa the best of luck with the movie and her upcoming album!
