It will come as a shock to many of you that Marcel Khalife’s albums were, until today, not available anywhere in Egypt! Marcel Khalife is known as one of the best political singers of our time and has been in the music business for over 30 years and his popularity has overcome the border of Lebanon which is why a major cultural centre in Egypt decided to bring 15 of his albums to Egypt so the Egyptian people can improve their musical ear and taste.

Unfortunately the Egyptian public seems to be ignorant about many of the famous political singers and not only Marcel but also Al Sheikh Emam Isa and Adly Fakhry who sang the famous song ‘Pablo Neroda’ which only became popular in Egypt after Adly’s concert around seven years ago. I think it’s an excellent step to distribute the great Marcel Khalife’s albums in Egypt because the Egyptian people are know for having open minds and I believe they will love the true and beautiful sound of this great mans tunes.
