We have all seen the endless repeating advertisement for this channel, Wanasah TV, and today it airs. Wanasah TV will be run by the MBC Group but is actually owned by the extremely famous and popular musician Rashed Al Majid! As is usual with Al Majid and the MBC Group the music channel will come to the public with a bang today at 17:30 GMT with a concert that brings together a great number of Arab musicians! The question on many peoples mind is what the channel will bring to us!

Apparently the channel will bring with it new presenters and a variety of musical programs and locally produced content. The channel is aimed at what Rashed describes as ‘Generation Y’ and those who ‘understand the power of the internet and the media’! It seems that this idea was always in Rashed’s mind and he feels that it should be a success simply because he has what he describes as ‘music background and the MBC team's industry experience’. Al Majid claims he will let ‘the channel speak for itself’ and promises viewers ‘amazing content and programming concepts that'll have people hooked right from the start’!!
