There has been a recent epidemic of channels with so called ‘sorcerers’ who either tell the future or coach you to commit acts of black magic via the TV. Finally, the Arabsat network has started doing something about that! After this epidemic upset many men of religion, the network has threatened several channels that broadcast such programs that they will be kicked out of the network if they do not seize this inappropriate activity. Kahlid Ben Ahmed EL Khayoor an official at Arabsat claimed that strict action will be taken over the next two weeks against channels that do not stop broadcasting such mumbo jumbo!
He added that letters were sent to the owners of the channels and that when no response was received legal actions were taken to expel these channels from the network. This decision also came upon a request made at the convention from Muslim Scientists and Thinkers to the Arabsat and Nilesat networks to stop the airing of these channels, which have been recruiting people who claim they can predict the future along with promoting the use of black magic. I think this is a very respectable action on the part of Arabsat … so kudos to them.

Hopefully the Egyptians authorities will take some steps towards such channels on NILESAT (which they are a lot and insult islam millions of times more than the cartoons which especially egyptians made a big fuss about it!!!!)

good. they shouldnt just threaten, they should take immediate action n shut them down coz its disgraceful. there are so many of them its getting a bit worrying. and i cant believe people actually make calls to participate. stupid ignorant fools.
Good idea for shutting down these channels. I can not stand charlatans, who pretend they can predict the future. Those people are just hungry for money.

But wait, I'm sure many of you would want al-Qaeda channels to be in existance, even though they are worse for Islam than these channels are.

loool anti-wahabi very true but like sum1 just said, sum people are foolish enough to watch them. 4get that its haram bla bla, just generally its pathetic. and definitly al-qaeda supporting channels are much more damaging and distastrous, and its more important that theyr dealt with first and eliminated.
ok guys, does anyone her now a good shiekh. i am not joking, I know someone close spent £900 equivalent to $1800 on thier phone bill for these stupid channels. They need urgent help. i mean the worst thing in the world that can happen to you is be possesed, especially if its a strong spell. And when you seek help, ppl won't help you. and thenyou have these channels that only promise stupid promises that aren't promises.
i know some ppl find it here stupid, but when someone hurts you and you are stuck in this problem, you would seek for any source of help without thinking. I would think, but like some ppl who fallen in theditch do anyting to get out of their misery.
Any one knows a good shiekh, and has anyone tried or visited these crazy ppl. I mean what happened to you? What did they do to you? i meani heard one of them say he doesn't ask for money, but ifyou call them once, it costs a £5 eqivalent to about $10.
i know someone who needs a shiekh that doesn't use thequran because the person tried ppl who use the quran,but it never works cause the spell is too strong, cause its really complicated to explain. So like anyone?

You may say its crap, but things have happened weird and abnormal to thatperson andyou wouldn't say that if u knew. They are really conviced, and thy don't trust those crazy ppl anymore. I understand your view. but i'm curious to find ppls responses who have dealt witht them. Because i wanna see if they lie, took money, or acually treated these people.

Have they tried seeing a psychiatrist???!!!
They tried, but te medicines they give make the person mentle when the person isn't. In your life, never try anything a psychiatrist prescribe, it wrecks your life even more. the psychiatrist tried diff things but they didn't work, and their medicines neve work. They only make the person addicted to it so the scientist and the doctor can eat their bread. That person
tried the strongest thing and it still failed on them. That person knows the problem is black majic because the person who done it, told them, and that person has 0% trust in them.
anyway, in islam, the only medicine there is, is the faithin God and the quran. God formed us and we all have a soul, therefore, chemicals should never intefer with our body nor should we play/wreck with it.
Even the psychaitrist has given up on thm, he wouldn't prescribe no more medicines to thatperson.
its total crap man...they're just out to make money. i hope noone falls for it...although i know its the middle east, and beh sara7a, we don't all have common sense.
