It seems that every year we seem to get more movies in the Egyptian Cinema than ever. Only about eight years ago the movies would only be released during the summer time. But since then we have been getting movies during the whole year. And the total of movies went from about 15+ to about 35+ a year, a huge improvement, and a fast one too. Last summer saw a huge collection of movie of over 15 movies.
But 2007 promises to be even better, with a record breaking 27 movies expecting to be released during the summer "battle". And there are still many movies which have not been confirmed.

Here is a list of the movies we should be expecting:

OMAR WE SALMA
Starring: Tamer Hosny

After a one year delay Tamer Hosny is back on the screen in OMAR WE SALMA. The movie is a romantic comedy directed by Akram Fared. OMAR WE SALMA is currently playing in select cinema's and will open nationwide on June 5th, 2007.

MORGAN AHMAD MORGAN
Starring: Adel Emam

He's back, and more loaded than ever. Adel Emam returns to the comedy scene after last years biggest blockbuster, Omaret Yacobien. Merfat Amen will be co-starring with Adel Emam in this comedy, opening soon in theathres.

KARKAR
Starring: Mahammad Saad

For over the last 5 years Mahammad Saad's movies always took the number one spot in the Box Office.
His run ended last year, when KATKOOT came in second to Adel Emam's Omaret Yacoubien. Saad returns once again for what promises to be yet another great laugh. KARKAR opens in theathres late June- early July.
