4 Cats

We haven’t heard from the 4 Cats in a while although I did hear about a movie they were apparently going to be part of but now Rotana has released the 4 Cats newest album which goes by the name of ‘Welet Kteer’! The album contains eight songs including the title track which is written by Zeyad EL Rahbany which is the first collaboration between the 4 cats and him!

The album seems to be invaded by the Rahbany family as two tracks that go by the name of ‘Teyr El Werwar’ and ‘Ya habeeb el kalb’ were composed by Wadi El Rahbany and the remaining tracks are completely produced by Ghassan EL Rahbany. The cover of the album I must say is very aesthetically pleasing and fits in with the hot theme of fire that goes throughout the songs. This album marks the return of Dalida Ghassan’s wife after giving birth to her twins. We hope this album will be a success like those we are used to from the 4 Cats!

"We haven’t heard from the 4 Cats in a while..."
And that was quite a blessing, too bad it did not last.
Why would Ziad write a song for them???!!! Seriously I know the dude is eccentric and may not agree with his idiology, but he's still a genious and thought he had too integrity to 'collaborate' with them just because they're family. Ehhh donya...
Though me being a person who is not prone to judge too quickly and without due reason (haha), I should wait to hear it first.

I've never heard of a band with a more appropriate name, they sound like 4 cats being strangled on Melody TV. What on Earth did Rotana think when they signed them? That they would make them lots of money? They make Haifa Wehbe sound like a very skilled opera singer.
