Hanan Turk has assured fans that news of her getting a divorce from her new husband business man Khalid El Khatab after a mere month of marriage is in fact true. The relationship has been shaky for a while because Hanan chose to wear the hijab, however, it seems the final straw was when Khalid refused to get rid of his dog which Hanan found playing with her prayer mat. Hanan went to the muftee in Egypt and was told that it is in fact against the rulings of Islam to have a dog in the house as this will mean she is unable to pray wherever the dog has been and she attempted to use this to convince her husband to get rid of his dog.
Hanan said she doesn’t want any money from her husband after the divorce but no one knows exactly what the fate of the house they both reside in will be! Hanan’s friend told reporters that the star will buy a house in the ‘Tagamo El Khames’ the new neighborhood for the wealthy in Egypt where she will live alone.
Do you respect Hanan for giving up her job and now her husband for what she believes in?!

Hanan is great actress and I love her great movies especially without head cover. Guys It’s her problem to divorce or married but she done great, her husband is a jakas probably he is filthy dog. She could pet a lion or tiger or cat, but dogs their dirty and licking too much, their very stingy

I am so behind in the Arab celebrity gossip. So Hanan has already divorced her first husband with whom she had kids, remarried and after a month divorced because they could not compromise on an issue regarding the prescence of a dog in the house!! So the marriage has been shaky for a while! they've only married for a month for goodness sake. I doubt religion or pets had anything to do with the break up, a loose foundation more like it...
So apparently she's been married 2 a guy for one whooole month & soooo soon after a supposed divorce from the father of her kids? Is that true or just scandal coz it sounds like poop 2 me!
Nevertheless u can't marry someone knowing they have a dog & then demand they get rid of it. That's practically control & men hate controlling women. She should have used her religious/ hygienic instincts before getting married. Cats can do just as much damage as dogs but they r not haram so yeah it obviously means the whole marriage is built on a bad foundation & the dog thing is one excuse of many probably.

I'm not surprised by yousef Shaheen's comment. He cannot never understand the importance of hijab to some people since he is not a Muslim.
At the end of the day, she chose to cover herself, and it's her choice. I respect her for it, and it takes guts and passion to give up everything for the sake of religion. Did yousef Shaheen really think that she will change her mind once she saw that he has a movie for her? That's ridiculous! I think he is out of line to actually criticize her decision and put effort into luring her ino taking it off. Some people really don't understand the significance of religion in people's lives. It always amazes me!

I just wanna confirm that this story is FALSE. Her husband i.e. the father of her kids is a businessman called KHALID so why on earth would she marry a second businessman called khalid???
They were seperated & she returned 2 him & that's that. Perhaps she left again due 2 a dog but she does not have a new husband & is not divorced!!! She's only been married once & is still married 2 the same guy.

Interesting fact you mention Sam about the former husband's name. If it was true and she married someone with the exact first name, it could provide reason for the shaky marriage. It is like a constant reminder of the first husband, "Are you thinking of me when you say my name?" kind of thing. I've thought about that same name scenario. It would be rather lucky coz then the wrong name will never burst out. Anyway what diff does it make? I think most people at some point will imagine their partner as being someone else, especially males. All men will have probably imagined certain actresses/ singers/ wife’s bestfriend/ wife’s niece/ wife’s sister/ secretary (soon 2 become a reality).
Maybe that’s why celebs give their kids such strange names e.g. apple…the partner will never confuse them. That’s thinking a bit too far ahead but u never can tell with warped celebrities. We should adopt that into the Arab celebrity world…manga, ba2doonis etc.

well, I dont know about the dog -if true... but she does not look to care much about anything.. actully I heard that they got divorced coz, her husband wanted her to quit working as an actress. Hanan did not leave acting for what she belives in, she only wore the hijab.. what a biggyyy??
