You Tube has become ever more famous with time but now, it’s turning against producers as somehow pirated movies are showing up on Youtube unannounced and before release dates. This was recently witnessed with Micheal Moore’s highly anticipated documentary that goes by the name of ‘Sicko’ and which was supposed to air June 29th and has in fact been posted on Youtbe in the form of 14 consecutive parts all adding up to the 124 minute movie!

This pirated version is from a copy of a very high quality version that was leaked to torrent websites and eventually to Youtube. Whether this is legal or not, is hard to say and if it isn’t it will prove very difficult to capture the person responsible. The posted videos have received up to 1,200 views since their appearance but a spokesman has claimed that people interested in reforming healthcare, which is the moral of the movie, will go see it in the theatre to be part of the experience. How this leakage will affect box office numbers is hard to predict, because although ‘Fahrenheit 9/11’ faced a similar situation it made around $119 million when it was released.
