miss japan riyo mori

Yesterday, the world's biggest beauty pageant, Miss Universe 2007, was held in Mexico City.
Beauty queens from all over the world competed against each other to win the prestigious title, in a pageant hosted by Vanessa Minnillo & Mario Lopez.
Last week, 15 girls from 77 girls were chosen as the finalists last week, in a swim-wear and evening gown contest. They were chosen on basis of intelligence, manners and culture.
The pageant, which was viewed by about 600 million people in more than 180 countries around the world, was won by Miss Japan, Miss Riyo Mori.

Riyo Mori is a 20-year-old lifelong ballet dancer from a village near Mount Fuji.
During the pageant, she wore a black, red and purple Japanese-style gown.
She revealed that her grandma used to tell her that she wanted her to be Miss Japan before she turned 20. Wow!
Mori hopes to open an international dance school in Tokyo, someday.
During the interview competition, Mori said: "I learned how to always be happy, be patient and to be positive, and this is what I want to teach to the next generation."
Mosi was crowned by Miss Universe 2006 Zuleyka Rivera of Puerto Rico.

Actually Miss Japan is very beautiful!! I think she deserves it. She was the only natural beauty in the top 5. Miss Brazil totally thought she was going to win it...she was too conceited with fake teeth and a fake tan.

You call that ugly??? Geez, your standard of beauty must be waaay up there! There's nothing wrong with this woman. I think she's a beautiful japanese woman and a nice change from the same ladies that always took the crown.

she is beautiful
and no she cant speak english but neither could 4 out of the 5 finalists. besides who said that everyone must speak english.
shes better than USA who fell and some other girls who were only pretty beacuse of their plastic surgery. it really is nice to see a change especially from last year. although Brazil was very pretty too.

How gorgeous were Venzuella and Korea? but Japan was awesome too, not the most beautiful face among the finalists there but she had a fantastic package.

Miss Japan didn't deserve to win Miss Universe 2007! she looks very ordinary, her English is very poor and her gown was awful!
Miss Korea and Brazil are more deserving.
The judges have very poor taste!

From the moment I saw Ms. Tanzanya WITH ABSOLUTELY NO HAIR being 1 of the Top 10, I knew the disaster is gonna happen and we're gonna have a Ms. World with no shape. Myyyyyy each of Ms. Japan's eyes was looking in a different direction. AND THAT;S WHAT WE CALL TRUE BEAUTY? YAAAAA WHATEVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

at least shes not reconstructed like all these south American "beauties".
its a change to actually have an Asian miss universe from the typical South American chosen ones..shes not drop dead gorgeous like some one already said but neither are the others.she just happened to deserve it more because of her speech..remember that the competition wasnt only about beauty..but it was about an "intellectual personality" as well.
personally, i think its BULLOCKS..it portrays women as OBJECTS rather than people.the final judgement is based on the women struting down the isle in their swimsuits to battle over the crown.such a pity.they are nothing but objects and many women in the generations past have worked so hard to change this view and here you have anorexic pieces of shit with reconstructed faces doing the exact opposite.
