Amal has been exposed to a bomb explosion in Verdan, Lebanon where she is currently living. Amal was very close to where the incident happened and fear has overcome her fans all around the world, who fear for the life of the Moroccan star. Sadness is evident in Amals eyes and her appearance exemplifies this as well. Sympathies go out to Lebanon and its people.

My sympathies are to the ones injured and killed in the last three bomb blasts, as well as the Palestinians caught in the cross fire. May those soldiers that died R.I.P.
Anyway I am sure she meant no harm. However we must commend Rachel for the article, and she sure will make an excellent publicist for Amal.

i also dont know why Amal's fans are so worried about her... i dont believe her life is in danger..its very unlikely for the same place to get bombed twice..and if she feels she is in that much danger she is free to leave Lebanon and come back after things settle down...
Thank you Yasmina for being concerned about the lebanese... i dont live in Lebanon but i was planning on going this summer to visit my family and with all of this going on i dont know if i will be able to...i hope the Lebanese get through this time..We dont want our beautiful country destroyed
It's good to see her well, and not caught up in the terrible incident. As for those that were, may they rest in peace.
I cannot see why there is so much worry over Amel. It's not just Amel, it's the Lebanese people too. The ones that were caught in this unfortunate mess, are the ones that suffered the most. The fact that other people live in that area is more worrying since they too share the suffering and experience (but not to such a great extent as those who died). It's them who are the ones we need to show our support to.
In those pictures we just see Amel, who travelled to witness the distruction. Where are the pictures that show the bigger slice of the truth i.e. those that suffered, or are suffering because of the loss of a close one. There are no tears in those pictures that can tell us the truth about the scale of the damage.
Our worries, support and hearts should be going out to the Lebanese people. They are all suffering in this.

I don't hate Amal, but I do dislike celebrities who try to get publicity from tragedies. I don't know if that is her case, but it just looks so contrived to me. Who knew she would be there to take such good photos & then put them online? Her publicist? If she cares so much, why doesn't she just go visit the victims without anyone's knowledge? Let me make myself clear here: I am not an Amel Hater. I just think that there is so much focus placed on her then on Lebanon. It really is annoying because the world we live in today is so celebrity-obsessed. Notice how there wasn't an article on this site about the explosions, but there was about Amel being close to one. We are looking more at the famous, and not the reality.

I completely agree with you, wallahi. It's good to see her well; but what really annoys me is that we are not seeing the bigger picture and scale of damage. That's what I'm trying to say; too much a focus on the famous, and too less a focus on reality.

I mean, she knows that everyone knows what she really looks like since was seen each day on the live Starac channel. It's the LBC who initiated her on make up and hair. This is how she originally looks, and to add up to the drama and publicity she goes and gets photographed on the scene of the accident.

For Mia.The most important that Amal is natural.What i mean with natural that she has not done any plastic surgery to change any thing in her face like most famous singers in the mideast and specialy libanese singers.Look at her pictures before she became famous without a lot make up she looks pretty natural even her hair uses to be long and natural when she got into star Academy she had what they call make over they even change her hair color and put a highlight.Libanese stylist focus on eyes They put alot make up on eyes(call smoky eyes).I m sure that all those singers that look hot with makeup if they remove their make up they will look different because we use to see them with makeup.I for light natural makeup.I hope that Amal will stay away from that libanese style makeup and be natural as she use to be before she started on star Academy.

Due to the unfortunate incident in Lebanon, the show had to postponed last week in sign of respect.
So they repeated the very show during the weekend and last night announced the results. Yosra Mahnoush was the contestant that had to leave. Wish her all the best.
Leaving Marowan Ali and Saad El Mjarred to battle out for the title next week. It's going to be a tight one.
PS: If you are not watching it, you don't know what you are missing! It's brilliant. You better watch the finals, seems like it's going to be very promising and beautiful.

I mean, she has barely left the Academy to think of doing any plastic surgery, which although she needs it badly, as proven in the photos hereabove, I do not think any plastic surgery would do. Amal's unattractiveness is well hidden under a good hairstyle and a good makeup, it's her complexion that's going against her.
Plus I love this stance about the plastic dolls of Lebanon. 90% of their income comes from their Arab public inferring such a public is quite smitten by them plastic queens.
And whenever someone gives a constructive comment about their own fledgling starlets, they lash out at the plastic.
