Has anyone from the Palestinian side of the conflict asked Oprah to come? I doubt it. Oprah is as good as it gets. She has done more for people around the world than anyone else. Why don't you and many others write Oprah and ask her to go to Palestine instead of just complaining or dissing her? I saw her interview with Queen Rania of Jordan - it was great.

Israel claim that Palestine are terrorists, how many times do we see a photos of an Israeli troop holding a gun to a Palestinian child's face? How many time do we see an Israeli tank distroying whole house with an entire Palestinian family living inside? How many times...I could go on forever!!
There are so many crimes committed by Israel, and even Amnesty International says that. So many times, Israel has broken international laws, and still continue to. And yet, they get away with it. They always seem to be standing in the "good light".

Oprah, if you are going to make any move, make sure that you do your research first! At least, show that you do understand what is going on because it is ever so evident that you really don't. The picture is far too complicated, and you don't even know half the truth that you think you do.
I won't lie, I am disappointed to such a large extent. Thought you were understanding and supportive, but it seems that you have cut one helping hand short from the other.

There should be more projects like these taking place. It's true that they are young, but the truth that can be told through their eyes is always one of full rendering competence and beauty. They tell more truth than the media that we are surrounded by.
These are the kids that are suffereing, they should be the ones to speak. Not us, because we have no idea of what it is like to live in a country full of difficulties and struugles. Not us, because we simply do not know how to handle and cope with unexpected and unpleasant situations. Not us, because our lives is a lot more different than theirs. To them this is what a typical and "normal" life is.
We have no idea what it is really like.
To live in these situations every day, is something that we all struggle to feel. We would feel, but not feel to the extent of what it would be like if it was happeneing to us. We can try to understand them, but will never be able to in the full and complete level.

My heart, respect and love goes out to all the children all over the world who are living in such difficulties.

No big deal. You just have to remember that a lot and I mean a lottt of the wealthy 'behind the scenes' men in LA/ Hollywood...etc are Jewish. Oprah's show relies on the celebrity industry (even if she does talk about social issues in one section, her show still thrives on celebs elsewhere 2 attract audiences). She therefore must have many connections to Jewish producers/ directors/ actors and so forth to keep her status maintained in the usa. It's a bit silly really appreciating someone who is filthy rich for their charity work, it's the least they should do. Rich people only befriend rich people and there are not that many rich Muslims and certainly none in her part of town.

I was really shocked to hear this!!!Oprah winfrey,if you want to maintain your prospect,you must show some fairness...There are many Arab fans of you in the whole world,so the next time you show sympathy for the Israelis who feel terrorized,you should also show some respect to the Palestinians who are facing the same situation(in fact,it's much more)...I really love Oprah Winfrey but she should really go back on the right track!

i did my oral exam about palestine, it was great telling the version of the facts from the arabside! i actually don't follow oprah, and what she does in her talkshow doesn't interest me. but i knew she's a charity woman, but i found this inacceptable!
