What has gotten into the guys responsible for the Starac 4 tour? Weren't all the concerts cancelled after the tragic accident at the Sfax concert in Tunis?
It seems the organizers have changed their minds & don't care any more about the feelings of the people because they decided to continue the tour & the first concert was scheduled for last night in Jordan!
A few weeks ago, just after the Sfax incident, the guy responsible for the Starac tour, Mr. Naji Al Baz, said that it would be inconsiderate to sing & dance while the parents & families of the victims suffer the pain of the loss! ... He even said: "Who ever can sing in such circumstances is an animal" !!!
Inconsiderate Starac 4 Tour !
Well, it seems the tears of the sad are not important anymore ... Couldn't they have waited at least for 40 days to pass ??? What can i say ... Money Money Money !!!
It's funny, because a close relative of Tunisian Starac finalist Marwa died on that tragic night & she will be singing & dancing on stage so soon !!!
I couldnt agree with you more! Had it been a king or a ruler who passed away during a concert then they wudnt have peorformed for 40 days but because its 'regular' people we lose all consideration for the families of the dead! My love and condolences goes out to the great people of Tunisia!
well they said from the beggining that some concerts will be canceled but not all of them!
Now they ve preformed n amman & one concert is left which will be held n beirut.
Of course our thoughts re with the families of the victims!
by the way, marwa doesnt know that her relative died during the concert!
Life goes on!
why should they cancel all the tours?Starac Maghreb was not cnaceled...many stars concerts are still going on...or is it just LBC again?
They already canceld 2 concerts in Tunis & Lebanon & are paying some profits to the families of the victims....
Has Tunis stop all her events & activities?have you, stopped living?
it is obvious since when does those managers of lbc has a heart and marwa no comment ..
Life goes on. They should carry on their schedule.
Tunisians gave this show so much undeserved credit and we gave idiots like Marwa and Imed what they don't deserve: our respect, support and appreciation. Both of them went on and forgot about the people who died. Marwa did it again after she left people waiting for her in the airport at night she and the idiot Imed went on again to celebrate the death of their fans.
I don't blame LBC, I shouldn't even blame the stupid Marwa and Imed. We only have ourselves to blame.
of course life goes on,
its qadar, we cant change that & we shouldn't even blame any1 for wha happened! We ve 2 pray 4 them o Allah yer7amon!
To Tunisan:
am sure its only yr opionon ( I respect that)
y 're judging over all yr ppl by saying
WE tunisan & that's not right!
tota
I didn't blame anyone for what happened. It's qadha w qadar no body can stop that but I blame Marwa and Imed for not respecting their fans. The concerts could be done without them if only they have some respect for their fans who died attending their concerts.
I don't speak for all Tunisians but I reflect their disappointment and if me being wrong is going to make you feel better by all means go ahead and consider me wrong and don't speak for anybody but myself.
I'm extremely disappointed by both of whom I supported without limits.
THE TOUR IS A FAILURE THE TOUR THIS YEAR IS SO BAD....and its as simple as that...get over these starac 9 because they are like worthelss at the moment...go do something worthwhile to start your career instead of a lousy tour like this.
hummmm.. i dont think they should stop any tour!!
b/c:
1. a7mad el shrif didnt stop his?
2. amani's album jsut came out last week and she had a party!!
3. and this might sound weried!! but 1000's of iraqis die every day do you think lbc should stop the tour??? i mean im iraq and life goes on.. come on it was only 7 people died, what would you guys do if it was 100? r u gonna chage ur falg from red to black??????
ps. im not trying to sound rude
what are you guys talking about why should they stop did all the other arabic singer's stopped singing while theres people being killed in iraq come on whats wrong with you guys why do you only see LBC (or is it a christian channel) and you dont blame other people or why do you blame only star acadamy i think its the best show!!!!
Tunisian,
I think that you are the only Tunisian who does not like Marwa & Imed & keeps criticizing them.
Although I doubt you are Tunisian but if really you are I do advise you to change your nationality to Iraqee-Moroccan one.
I do remember that you are a big fan of Shatha (You've never been a big supporter of Marwa & Imed as you are pretending) & I do remember well what you said in the topic (Tickets' euphoria in Tunisia.
So please stop it & give us as well as Marwa a break. You are contradicting yourself from one topic to another just to give yourself the excuse to criticize Marwa & Imed.
By the way, we are not disappointed of them & we are really proud of them. Go to their official sites & you will see how much they are loved either bu Tunisians or by people from other countries.
Gazelle
You are extremely off.
i just wanna say that life goes on.. dont blame anybody.. its not anyone s fault its just it was ment to happen.. DID U HEAR THAT THEY HAD PROBLEMS IN THE PLANE IN JORDAN .. THANK GOD THEY R GOOD.. WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH THEM ?? I THINK THAT AMAL GAVE THEM AN EYE (RABBI YESTOR) !!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
You know that I'm saying the truth & if anyone goes to the archives & read again your comments he will get the eveidence that you contradicting yourself.
I'd rather be extremely off than being extremely a liar & a low-level person.
Just forgot to mention, the above message is addressed to Tunisian
again you are way off.
ma tawleesh lsanik lianak ghalta 3la tol al khat...za3ma za3ma fahma w anti ka3ba la.
if they should stop the tour because of these guys that got stapped in the last tour ,so why don't we all stop our life to whats happening in IRAQ PALASTINE AND LEBANON hundred of pepole getting killed every day.plz grow up and stop thinking in this way we have the right to live and if we don't keep on we will loose every thing and its true star academy pepole they sing and they do concerts but through this we giving the wold a message that we want to live in PEACE .and all that its just because lbc done it but if it was some1 else we wouldn't here a word.and god bless us all
life goes on
we in lebanon even the bombs were everywhere we continued our lives its not becos we dont care abt the dead people of course we feel sorry for every person died unjusticely
elissa s dad died 3 yrs ago and she continued her career and her life
even during starac 2 each week we had a bomb we felt very sad but we continued
what happened in the tour of starac shocked all Tunisians and now see imed and marwa continuing the tour is so bad for them because all our love transforming in hate!i'm tunisian and now i hating marwa and imad so much they are real idiots they don't have any respect for their tunisian fans wled bledhom they disgusting me!for lbc attitude to continue a tour it's normal for them only thing who have valor is money money and money!the family who son's dying don't need the dirty money of staracademy!and finally never never again the tour of staracademy lbc coming in tunisia !
I just want to add one last post to this thread.
I don't think the tour should be stopped however I think the participation of Marwa and Imed is extremely irresponsible and offensive to me as Tunisian.
I feel sad for every single life lost in Iraq, Palestine and Lebanon but I hope you understand none of them died attending Starac concert. I know we are used to daily high numbers of dead people but still it's never OK to say "comon it was only 7 people who died" because for us Tunisians the last group death in the same time and place was in early 60s on the hand of the French army.
So it's a big deal for us seeing 7 youngster die in a concert and what's even catastrophic is seeing idiots like Marwa and Imed 2 weeks later holding concerts in Amman and later Beirut celebrating their falling fans.
I know life goes on but the least these fans and their families will ask from Marwa and Imed is the Muslims custom of 40 days of respect but apparently that was too much to ask for.
Mr Tunisian, i'm as Tunisian as u are and may be more but i totally disagree with what you say about Marwa and Imed for many reasons. The most important one is that they are under contract with Star System who are responsible for the tour and their refusal will have its consequences. So you can understand that they do not have the choice to refuse and if they had i'm sure they will refuse to sing. Second, don't forget that this is their job and you cannot blame the people of the other countries for wanting Starac to perform as it was schedualed. And for respect to these people before everything else, they have to do these parties but this does not mean that they are happy for what happened in Sfax or that it did not affect them. You cannt also judge people before knowing exactly what happens.
We cannot blame people for things they are not responsible for, so please calm down and remember that hatred will never solve any problem! Only love does!
Such negativity...sigh. How do you know how Marwa feels? I imagine she has been terribly shook up over this tragedy - but she is under contract to perform, isn't she? She MUST do it. Don't blame a teenager for what happened or her contract's obligations. I am sure she will never forget what happened right in front of her eyes. She is a good person - I wish you'd remember that. Also, life does not stop when loved ones die. It's a fact of life.
"it's clear and obvious marwa and imed were terribly shocked over this tragedy"???!!!!!! seeeeeee them in jordan dancing smiling and singing ya haram they are really depressive and shocked for what happened in sfax! if this tragedy happened in Egypt you can imagine 9ammah or sally continue the tour??? it's impossible!!!only our candidate are so idiots irrespective and don't deserve to be Tunisian!they are animals not persons!!!
Imen: you've obviously never been under contract in your life and have NO IDEA what it means. They are LEGALLY BOUND to go to work. Can you understand that??? And believe me, it doesn't matter if it happened in Egypt or wherever...if you sign a contract, you are obligated BY LAW to uphold it. Is there any part of that you don't understand? It seems to me, IF you really ARE are Tunisian, that you would want them to continue with their job and do well. I think it is you with the problem, not them.
HEY tunisian
dont say imad is an idiot ok?he cant control wat goes on in the concert!!n he cant control the fact if they r gona make a concert or not so if u have other thoughts go think them over!!
ok 1 thing i have 2 say is that u cant possibly compare the war thts going on in iraq palestine n lebanon 2 the death of those ppl in the concert because in those countries ther is war n nothing can b dun about tht but the ppl tht organise the concerts well shud have dun their job better..n sumtin cud have been dun but people r over reacting about the whole thing
How long were you guys hoping the tour to be delayed for?
Of course they have to move on, that's what our planet does everyday. It's been approximately two weeks after the incident, and I think it has been a resonable time to hold back the tour in sign of repect. But like they say, the show must go on.
They cannot disappoint their fans; the ones who have helped them get to where they are right now. To them, their fans mean everything. They want to show how much they appreciate what they have done. It's their way of saying "Thank you".
What did you all expect?
To cancel all the tour dates across all the Arab Countries?
It was one tradgic incident and they did what they could. Holding back tour dates for that length of time, especially a very popular tour, is really impressive. Instead of comlaining, I hold my admiration for keeping their silence for that long. It's a clear and evident sign of respect.
And for those getting on Marwa and Imed for singing and dancing, what are you expecting? They have a contract that clearly states what it is that they do and follow. In this case, a tour is a must-do. They cannot pull out or there will not be a tour. They have no choice.
I think the 2 weeks have given them enough time to come in to terms of the shocking event. They have accepted it, and at the same time accept that fact that the show must move on.
The sad part is, while we are all here mentioning those who have died in that incident there are others that die in the most horrific; Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine. That's something we need not to forget.
* * * Hello Tunisian!!!!!
- I really feel with you & I know that you don't hate Marwa & Imad even though it sounded like that for some of us. What happened was shocking for me too & I'm sure for every body & for all who post on this website. It is very sad to loose such a young & happy people in a concert. Life is so precious . . it is so worth to live it & it is very sad to lose it.
- It doesn't matter because of a war, an accident, sickness . . etc. It is a HUGE loss.
As Iraqi & and as all Iraqies we have very painful sadness deep inside us because of all the daily killing for innocent people, but every morning we wake up with a hope that things will change to better.
- I read many offensive postings about the war in Iraq (with no respect whatever for all who died for more than 3 years now) & I tried not to answer them back. But seeing your sadness & disappointment made me write about it. It is nobody's fault . . it is just an unpleasant destiny of these kids (Alf Rahmaa for their souls).
= To tell you the truth Imad still looks sad (in the photos & videos), also I heard Marwas was sick in Amman & went to the hospital!!
And I heard also something wrong was with aeroplane during their flight from Amman To Lebanon & they had to go back to Amman & then to fly again after few hours . . May God protect all of them.
- We don't really know the magnitude of the suffering the students went through since the SFax tradedy. Singing & dancing is their job now & doesn't mean that they don't care!!!
- Cheer up Tunisian & let's keep praying for the victims families & Insha-Allah NO more sad accidents.
- Lou Lou, it is so nice to hear from you again!
Peace & all Good,
Tunisian,
IS THAT REALLY YOU ..?
Are you seriously, calling Imed and Marwa idiots,
irresponsible and that life goes on ..?
Im sorry, but I cant really believe that the "Tunisian" who is saying these things isnt and impostor.
I apologize if Im wrong.
