Last night at the Starac 4 concert in the Tunisian city of Sfax, things didn't go as planned.
Just after the stars of Star Academy appeared on stage, the audiences huddled together in a moment of frenzy ... which resulted in what appeared to be a stampede!
This stampede resulted in 7 dead & around 12 severely injured!
The concert was immediately stopped, the students were taken off the stage & taken back to their hotel in Tunis.
It seems the reason this whole tragedy happened, is lack of organization; the place where the concert was held fits a certain number of spectators ... while the number last night was over the top, around 15.000 people all squeezed together.
Our hearts go out to the families of the dead & the injured.

First of all i want to expand my condoleances to the families of the dead people in the concert of sfax. It's really sad to hear such news. I think that the ones to blame are those who organized this concert.
Second, i want to apologize for all the fans of Shadha if anything in the behaviour of some teenagers offended them. But be sure that 3 years later, when Shadha will prove herself as a real singer and star with her own songs and repertoire and she will come to Tunisia to have a concert in Carthage, she will be amazed by the way she will be accepted in Tunis because that's the way we are. We love all the people without exception and what happenes is a temporary reaction of some kids that means nothing on the long run. I can prove this by taking the example of Zizi of starac2. She was not very welcomed in Tunisia in the tour but just come now and see you will know that her song is the first in Tunisian hit parades.
Third, i want to thank all those who insulted Tunisia and the Tunisians. YOU reflect a very good impression about yourself and your country has nothing to do with you.
Fourth, i think that the candidates have nothing to do with what you are saying. They all brothers and sisters whatever you say and nothing will change that. Talking bad about anyone of them proves that the "speaker" is not well educated. The candidates are not supposed to be angels and every body who loves someone accepts his drawbacks as well as his qualities.
By the way, there is no country better than the other especially in our arab world and you are proving that now.
I don't think that Tunisia would insult Lebanon or Iraq for a TV programme and i believe that Lbc did a good work in starac although there are many things to comment on but we were never ungrateful.
I hope that Tunisian candidates will leave this starac for its people now we have our own version that is better in so many ways.

When I first heard of this I didn't believe it. It seems so sudden for people to die by simply attending a concert. I'm so used to hearing people dieing in bomd explosions and shooting, but a stampede no. Very unexpected, and for that I would love to wish all those family and friends out there who have lost one in this unfortunate accident my deepest condoleances. Wish you remain strong strong in this difficult situation.

In sum, LBC Star academy HAS RESULTED so far in:
1- Many wives were divorced
2- Many families were shattered.
3- Kids, children, students, and young people's misconduct.
4- 7 young forthcoming youngesters lost their lives in a stampede in Tunisia where the least symbol of Islam, hijab is banned.
5- Many people are injured.

Thanks Cherry for your sympathy and believe me i'm not blaming anybody especially the candidates because this image will be in their minds forever and God know it's a quite big burden. I hope they would be able to overcome this.
And again dear Syrian_love Ahmad has nothing to do with this. If you were listening exactly to what has been said you'd have known that the stempede took place because the concert began while the spectators were not in place yet. That's why they wanted to hurry up and it happened like this it's GOD WILL. Also we cannot say that the organizers are the only ones to blame because the concert began in its due time and it's not their fault that the crowd thought that it would be delayed.
I don't think that either starac or the organizers wanted that to happen so stop blaming people for things that are beyond their abilities.
Anger will lead us no where only faith and compassion will get us out of all this.

2) The accident happened because the concert started and a lot of people still entering the theatre it happened that Ahmad was singing at the time if it was Imed it may even be worst...nevertheless it's an accident and very painful one.

while, yping my post I was listening to mosaique Fm they have a recorded report including live witnesses. It's puzzling what people can make up. Any way we are notorious in being slow in having the information out to the people before they go to Jaras TV and alike.

I feel such sorrow for the poor victims and their families. Such tragedies happen all the time in the world, and every time they do it just seems so senseless. The students must also be devastated. It is hard to just hear about such things, let alone witness it. I am sure the authorities who are investigating will figure out what happened, and hopefully these kinds of accidents can be prevented in the future. Any time there are huge crowds of people together, there is always a chance of this happening - in football stadiums, concerts, protests, and even in holy places. Also, my heart goes out to all the good people of Tunisia - I am sure you are heartbroken.
May God rest the soul of those who lost their lives; give strength to the injured ones and families.
