When we see a celebrity we tend to think that they were born like this rich, glamorous and loved but we fail to realize that in fact many of these people used to do the least of jobs until they had their big break! Some of the jobs that these celebrities whom we all love used to do will shock you!

Mohammed Abdu who is internationally acknowledged as one of the best started his career early but as a boy he helped out his less fortunate family by selling marbles and nuts and he doesn’t have a higher education degree! Who would have thought when he sounds so intellectual when he talks; I guess the world teaches you more than school!

Ahlam had another not so prestigious, but musical, ex- career in derogatory terms it is known as a ‘Takaka’ which is basically a group of performers that perform in women only weddings, Ahlam is not very proud of this career and she is never happy when asked about it!

Waleed Tawfeek who has a lot of fans and has had an amazingly prosperous career used to in face deliver electrical appliances to houses!

Yehya El Fakharany had a job he is proud of he used to be a psychiatrist at the Egyptian Television building and while he was doing he masters he got cast for a few small parts and was launched from there.

Nour El Sherif used to be a football player in the well known Egyptian football club El Zamalek before he went to Performing Arts school and became an actor.

Similarly Nabeel Shoael was actually a goalie for his local team and he sang until his friends encouraged him to concentrate on him music which was a good idea!

Kathem El Saher was actually a teacher before he started singing and so was Nagwa Karam!

SO if right now you have a good voice and are stuck in a ‘regular’ job there is still hope!
