Well obviously he isn’t, or is he! On a more serious note Serbian miners have found Kryptonite on Earth! Merely because I feel someone who reads this will have no idea what I’m talking about Kryptonite is an element that superman must avoid at all costs or else perish and its discovery is a huge event for comic lovers all over the world. It turns out the makers of Superman lied because in Superman Kryptonite is shown as green and harmful to Superman but in reality it’s a white powder and is harmless!

The story of discovery is that the Serbian miners found this element and had no idea what it was so they called up the hand Dr Chris Stanley a mineralogist at London's Natural History Museum and he just Googled ‘sodium lithium boron silicate hydroxide’ and guess what he found that lead him to what this element actually was? A Wikipedia articles stating and I quote ‘The scientific name for the rock was displayed on its case, 'Sodium lithium boron silicate hydroxide’ in reference to a case containing Kryptonite that Lex Luthor stole!

This is great news for all those Superman fans who have for years argued his existence, if Kryptonite exists then why not Superman? In all honesty the element does not contain fluoride which according to ‘Superman Returns’ it should but it has all the other properties of Krypotnite! For those of you who live in London this element will be displayed in London's Natural History Museum will April 25 and on May 13. But don’t go looking for Kryptonite as it has been officially named Jadarite in honor of where it was discovered!
